I hear he is in training but I also hear there is a new series of Dancing on Ice starting.......

There are far too many people on here whinging like jilted lovers. It's laughable.

Banning him is not an option.

Three ways Hayes actions will harm him:

A) fans won't be as quick to rush out to buy tickets to see him again.

B) opponents won't be as quick to sign up to fight him.

C) TV company's won't be as quick to pump money into promoting his fights.

There's only so long somebody can take the piss, and Haye has pissed off most, regardless of whether any of it was genuine or not.

You can't compare Haye with Tyson. Tyson's antics made people want to see him more. A convicted rapist who bites a piece of an opponents ear off and threatens to eat the children of another has a different type of draw to a fighter who blames a loss on a baby toe injury and posts selfies of himself looking "poorly" in a hospital bed after surgery.

They are different in millions of ways, obviously. But they both have that "it factor"
Like him or not, Haye is box office, he is a "star" and people want to see stars. H

Fury will be desperate to fight him if he comes back because he knows a fight with Haye means $$$

Same reason TV companies will be tripping over themselves to sign Haye to their networks.

Fury would love to box Haye as he thinks he can win and Haye is a delicate athlete now who injures before almost every fight; I don't imagine Fury would risk training another 16 weeks and hoping Haye can get into the ring in one piece.

How do you know? He's not been the most honest and above board in his professional and public life so do you think he's beyond reproach in private?

I don't and that's why I don't put them on a pedestal; if someone is an outright game player in the professional world then I'd imagine they'd play fast and loose behind closed doors as well.

what's your definition of 'outright game player'? - I hope you're not trying to say that Haye somehow bottled the fight or that he had signed having no intentions of fighting?

I'd not go as far as saying that and I do know that he postponed the Fury bout after being cut and then pulled out of the rescheduled bout and called time on his career with a shoulder injury that took a 5 hour operation; not 2 weeks after Vitali retires he is up and about and looking forward to the season. I'd not say an awful lot about it but I know that other people have stronger views about it all than me (and all the injury pullouts etc didn't cost me 100's of £££).

As far as facing 6 foot 8 boxers go I'd imagine that all things considered facing the older and battle scarred Vitali for a World Title would be a better bet than facing Fury first given it was Hayes stated ambition to win the World Title.

All of the above especially the bit in bold. I got burned for both the Charr and the Fury fights. Sure I got my money back but I lost my booking fee. He should fight abroad against some good fighters and I'm going to stream it, because he's had enough free money out of me already. Go and fight Pulev in Bulgaria. Go and fight Adamek in Poland. Go and fight Wilder in America. Wilder in America would probably do pretty well, right? I'm still streaming it.

Then, after that, I'd probably trust him enough to shell out for Haye-Fury again. But he should do it so that everybody whose paid the booking fees for the fights before shouldn't have to pay them. Because I'm irritated with him, to be honest. How much good will does this guy really think he has? Because as far as I'm concerned he hardly has any at all.

If Haye comes back in big fights he will sell tickets and do great TV business, your average punter just wants to be entertained and if a big name fighter is in a fight they will hand over their cash.

So some people lost booking fees etc? oh well thats life, nobody died, the moon didn't fall from the sky, it didn't rain fish or anything.


Just let it go and try to get on with your life.

I'm glad he is back. Because it will be fun when he gets ktfo only a matter of time.
