but he did get rocked but survived the round well to finish on top,the lead left hook worked well for Tommy but apart from that and Ansah getting docked for hitting after break it was pretty uneventful

Gavin McDonnell about to defend his British Super Bantamweight crown against Josh Wale next up,should be competitive but i reckon McDonnell might stop Wale late

Place looks/sounds half empty (as did Fat Mick's Town Hall bash on Saturday) was it a good idea having two shows so close together in the same town ?
A month apart both shows may have enjoyed better attendance (and consequently a better 'atmosphere')
