Post by handsofstone »

Warrington vs Lindsay shows about to kick off at 6:30 on Red button SS1 so i thought id get in early and set up the RBR if anyone else isnt busy like usual on a school night,iv'e done all my chores so im pretty much all set, looking forward to a cracking bill :box:

Strange though that the red button was getting advertised on the channel yesterday but not now?

Tommy Coyle's chin and body are always going to be tested now, shame as against Derry he was great till he got hit clean.

Didn't see that fight so can't comment. He was abysmal tonight.

I'm amazed Butler took 5 rounds to get him out there that's for sure.

Kal Yafai stops Yaqub Kareem in the 3rd with a wicked left hook to the body to win the vacant Commonwealth Super Flyweight title

Kareem fails to rise, that was an impressive performance from Yafai,he wouldn't be denied and done a better job than Paul Butler who took 5 round to get rid of him

I think it's gonna be impossible to match Yafai at British and European level. Off the top of my head Super-fly is one of the divisions that there isn't a European title. Jamie Conlan is the only other British guy who could give him a test in my opinion and he won't be ranked because he has the WBO European title. Don Broadhurst, Brad Watson and Najah Ali are the only other guys I can think of they are all really from the next divisions up or down from Super-flyweight.

They can just drag some flyweights up a division if they have to.

he looked alright against a boxer from Accra in Ghana so of course he was teek tough :D but he did get rocked but survived the round well to finish on top,the lead left hook worked well for Tommy but apart from that and Ansah getting docked for hitting after break it was pretty uneventful
