Be awesome. I remember the atmosphere for dunne martinez, electric... Until 90 seconds in this will be a wholly different outcome mind.

the atmosphere will be superb, been to a few of Carl's fights, but an open air fight in Belfast will be something else, hope the weather holds though.

Martinez has really come into his prime, fulfilling what he showed way back in the destruction of future titlist Bernard dunne. he's won 3 title fights in a row, and has built up a head of steam whereas Frampton has had a couple of flashy, look good wins. this momentum is going to be hard to deny even though Frampton has the tools to beat this man. I expect a much harder fight, and can see perhaps an ongoing rivalry really developing between the two.

I dont see it myself. I dont think Martinez is particularily any better than he was when he first fought Frampton. He's just been in with lesser fighters or fighters who are past their peak. That's about it.

I agree. I think Frampton beats him comfortably, inside the distance again.

"that's about it" - I can see you're someone who enjoys the discussion part about forums.

Martinez is going to be hard to deny, he's hit his peak, having had some fierce and competitive rounds of boxing. he will run out of steam & go back to being an ordinary fighter. but he's not going to relinquish that title without a mammoth struggle.

The atmosphere in the Odyssey Arena is something else, does it a disservice trying to describe it, you need to have witnessed it at first hand. Of course being an outdoor venue for the 1st time will be totally different, but they hope to sell 15k to 20k tickets for this one (Odyssey holds 9k), it'll be a night not to miss, i'd highly recommend going.

Fancy flying over for this one, everytime i've seen boxing in Belfast Oddysey or the Kings Hall the atmosphere has looked awesome. Plus I really rate Frampton a helluva lot

I've been to every fight he's had in Northern Ireland and the atmosphere has always been amazing at any venue. This open air event will be no different.
