Re: Carl Frampton
I would have preffered the supposed Santa Cruz fight but this is a great fight nonetheless, both looked to have improved so could be even better than the 1st one
Re: Carl Frampton

Re: Carl Frampton
Major respect for kiko taking this fight he must really fancy the job. I think this is a much harder fight at this stage for carl than say a fight with Quigg or even Santa Cruz hope carl does the job it won't be easy

Re: Carl Frampton
i'll be hoping to get a ticket for this, but would have to fancy Carl given the fact he's already ko'd him, then hopefully him n Quigg can get it on n Carl ko's him aswell.
Re: Carl Frampton
Outdoors, Belfast? Well that will be Windsor road but I lived in Lisburn for just over a yr and it rained almost every day.
Can see this happening but not outside to risky, who would buy ringside seats if its gonna lash down

Re: Carl Frampton
think it's Ravenhill they looking at not Windsor
Re: Carl Frampton
Windsor Park will be being used for football that weekend, can't risk damaging the pitch, think Ravenhill is the proposed venue. The average rainy days for Belfast in September is 12, same as May, July and August, the average rainfall is actually higher in August. That gives roughly a 1 in 2.5 chance of it raining that day, likely lower because it's early in September, that gets even smaller when that's the chance of it raining during that day, not during the actual fight. It actually rains less in Northern Ireland than the North West, because the hills that cover large areas of Ulster shield it from the rain.nitro5912 wrote:Outdoors, Belfast? that may be what the stats say but it defiantly rained a hell of a lot when I lived over there.expe wrote:Windsor Park will be being used for football that weekend, can't risk damaging the pitch, think Ravenhill is the proposed venue. Venue hasnt been determined so cant sell tickets yet. Think we'll know more at a press conference in next couple of weeksmanchester-mexican wrote:when do tickets go on sale ?
Re: Carl Frampton
Would have preferred Santa Cruz or Quigg.....but this sure ain't disappointing and Martinez (against the odds) seems to be getting better and better and has not looked back since his fight with Carl. Going over to the States and doing a number on Romero was impressive and he's coming off a KO win in Japan. Tough little hombre who has always been able to dig.
Am I right that he's part of Sergio Martinez's Maravilla boxing outfit?

Re: Carl Frampton
Can't see it being Windsor Park. Frampton has tried his utmost to take himself away from any sectarian sh!te and so going to Windsor would go against that. I've been speaking with a few mates over there and i'll be looking at going unless it's at Windsor.
Re: Carl Frampton
I like frampton, think he's a quality little fighter.
He beats Martinez handily.
I also think he beats Quigg handily and I rate Quigg highly

Re: Carl Frampton
I'd quite like to go to this fight actually. What do we think the atmosphere will be like for this one? It's that which appeals to me more than the fight actually,
