I think he's at least as good as elusive James Hare was 10 years ago, and can win WBF welter glory.

Gavin's career has been a mess to date due to a number of factors.

His progression has been dreadful, he hasn't fought one name in the top 25 a full 6 year after turning pro. These factors have contributed to him gaining bad habits within the ring. If he can iron out those habits then he has the potential to progress beyond the level he is currently operating at.

He isn't a Welterweight though and he isn't going to reach his maximal potential without realising this

James Hare! I remember him. Yet another guy bigged up on these shores as being a potential world star then getting derailed at low level. They called him the Roberttown Rocket! Not sure how I remember that.

Yes, Gavin is every bit as good as Hare.

No, I do too.

I think Frankie is one of the best we have, everything he does in the ring is excellent. You can't teach that kind of talent.
Maybe he doesn't have one punch knock out power but he hits hard enough as he broke Denton vassels jaw!
Frankie's timing is perfect, the combos he puts together and his movement are second to none, as a boxing fan I could watch him all day.
I think maybe the next 18 months will be big for him, he's 28 and has come through nice and slowly.
No excuses if he can't mix with the elite.
Only knock is i think if he can make light welter then he should stick to it but he's a pro and knows the score.
Looking forward to seeing him fight at world level.

He could easily make light welter. If he has the discipline.

I think people need to forget the light -welter debate with Frankie he's addressed it many times and said he can't make it.

it's been a slow burning career, at some points painfully slow but its picked up nicely recently and if he can beat Bundu it will be really interesting what direction towards a title Warrren goes in. As we know he usually goes the WBO route so will be relying on Pacman vacating I guess as that fight obviously isn't going to happen but let's see.

Agree. And surely this could be the reason he might not quite make it to world level?? How many world champions are there that dont 100% live the life? not many.

He clearly has the skills, i dont think thats even in question. The light welter division on the world scene at the minute isn't the strongest, the welter is? If he knuckles down and gets down to light welter, for me, nothing would be stopping him

It was a younger Cosmo Rivera who burst his bubble. I think Frankie could be similar in that he is praised for his slippery skills right upto the time a half-decent operator delivers a beat-down.
