I don't see why he wouldn't fight Mayweather ASAP. He's pretty much the best non-TR welterweight option for Mayweather right now, and Mayweather is easily the most lucrative option for Brook right now. Apart from the fact that Brook might need to take a stay-busy fight before fighting Mayweather in May, there's no reason to endanger his lottery ticket by taking any high-risk, low-reward fights in between.

Fight Amir at the MEN or outdoors at Hillsborough.....it's a massive, winnable fight and Kell deserves a monster payday for having waited so long to become a champ. If it is a proper match-up between truly world-class domestic rivals the British public will get behind it and pack-out a big venue or buy the subscription. Froch v Groves proved that if you put some proper class on then boxing can still be a big-time sport in the UK.....Kell and Amir should be ordering their advisors to 'get it made.'

Well Floyd gots to call first of all. I definitely agree if Floyd calls, Kell would be silly not to take the opportunity as would basically anyone else (maybe Saul would turn him down cuz Saul can do extremely well w/o Floyd, but even thats arguable). I think Kell should go business as usual & not worry about if Floyd will call cuz we got a month before Floyd even fights & 9 months til Kell would even have the opportunity so he should definitely fight the best guy available which is probably gonna be Keith. I couldn't fault the guy too much if he fought Amir next or even some bs guy in the UK to give himself & his fans a title defense @ home.

He won't fight Keith next and rightly so. He can fight who ever he wants, its not about Keith bloody Thurman. Mayweather won't come calling IMO because Khan does bigger numbers. Brook has just won a title he is entitled to fight a decent opponent next and look for Khan after that.

I thin Bundu would be the next option but not so sure that he would be an "easy defense" Kell would most likely win but would know he was in a hell of a fight.

Bundu is a very good fighter, he maybe lacks a bit of power, Brook is tough.

I think age might be catching up with Bundu, he looked tired at the end of the Gavin fight and with his style you really cant afford to slow down. I guess to be fair to Bundu its not what you can call an 'easy' fight, but its certainly a fight I would expect Brook to win fairly comfortably.

Would love to see Brook/Bradley. Bradley is like a better (but also slightly smaller) version of Porter.
Brook/Marquez would be real interesting as well. Or Brook/Maidana assuming Maidana loses to Floyd again.

Good thinking, Bundu then Khan after perhaps. Bundu won't be a walk in the park as he is quite accurate and switches styles frequently but Brook should be too big and strong. Do you think he could get the ko?

I think Kell should stick with playing it safe for a minute and go after Khan and the big bucks in Wembley Stadium or something like that, it's too much to ask him to try and take down Thurman or Floyd at this point. If was to start off in a fight with either of them as timid as he did with Porter then I'm afraid he'd get KO'd vs Keith and put too far behind in points to try and catch up with Mayweather.
He could probably beat Devon, definitely Brandon, leave Bradley alone, outbox JMM be too slow for MP and beat Robert.
Who's Next?
Floyd 0% 0% [ 0 ]
Manny 0% 0% [ 0 ]
Amir 48% 48% [ 26 ] x
Shawn II 4% 4% [ 2 ]
Keith 15% 15% [ 8 ]
Juan, Tim, Robert, Devon or Brandon 13% 13% [ 7 ]
Random/Keep Busy kinda guy 20% 20% [ 11 ]

I totally agree with this. He is the most deserving of any welter right not, aside from Pacquiao. I won't mention Thurman right now other than Khan needs to man up and fight him in the meantime. Why is Khan so fornicating afraid of Thurman???
Fight Brook next then Pac for a last fight. The only thing is..................assuming Floyd wins again vs Maidana, with Cotto vs Canelo competing for Cinco De Mayo....will Floyd make May his last fight vs Pac?

Floyd isn't fighting Brook. He just isn't. Only hardcore boxing fans have ever heard of the guy.
Not even on Floyd's radar.
Certainly not before Khan or Garcia.
Now if Brook can beat Khan or another top guy that can change.
But right now...No chance.

I'd like to see JMM.
not sure why, I just would.
Hopefully not a back to his best JMM, because he would fornicate Kell up, maybe just a slightly tired, past his peak JMM. That would make for an interesting fight with a big name

Simple logic says Khan. Gonna do big $$$ in Uk. Especially with winner possibly getting Floyd in the Uk too

I cant see Floyd ever coming over here to fight to be honest, at least not while he is at the top of the sport... If Khan vs Brook happens, I'm sure the winner would be at or near the top of the list for Floyd, but it would happen in the US, not UK.

Khan is fighting either Alexander or Guerrero.
Brook should fight the guy Khan doesn't choose.

Unless they offer Kell Brook some big money against someone dangerous. I'm leaning toward a hand picked defence.

As a fan of the british lads, I'd be inclined to go Khan vs Alexander as i think Guerrero has the dig to unsettle or hurt khan and Brook vs Guerrero as it would make the more entertaining fight and i think it's fairly winnable for Kell, Kell fighting Alexander would make for a dull affair.
Ideally i'd like to see Khan and Brook win, then fight each other.
whoever came out on top of that little quartet would be well within their rights to start demanding superfights, whether that be with Floyd or Pacquiao
as it stands, i'd rather see the best in the division fight guys like Bradley or Garcia, guys who have truly earned their place at the top table and should be front of the queue for the big fights.

Maybe Khan has a bad feeling about the Ghost too since he turned him down at least twice. It would seem Guerrero would be perfect for Khan. A common Floyd opponent, not a big puncher, and one Khan on paper at least could easily out-box. Guerrero has only lost one fight in about 8 years too, so it would be a quality win for Khan, and better than an Alexander win.

@Diddy; he never usually fights in that manner.
He needed to fight like that to nullify the head first, wild swinging bull rushes of Porter.

Apparently Brook and his team have changed their tune on Thurman as a possible opponent. They say now they are looking at Khan, JMM, and Mayweather next. Might as well just say Khan and JMM next.
Well, Eddie Hearn changed his tune again. NOW they are looking at Joseito Lopez, Berto, Rios, or Guerrero. (subject to change, of course) Hopefully its Guerrero.
