I was hearing rumours a few years ago that ray hatton was allegedly buying all the tickets to rickys fights so he (ray) could sell them with a mark up.

Since it's rumour time, I've been told Ray is a major crime figure in his area. From a bodybuilder who used to train with Kerry Kayes. He comes over as a bit mean but never had him pegged as serious.

I heard a rumour that Ray Hatton sold and laid the carpets used on the fake moon landing video. He's reflected in Neil Armstrong's visor if you look closely.

I do think the overall feeling is they like a pound note the Hattons. Money creates arguments if you make a big deal out of it and put a high amount of priority on that over other things.

If my dad had been nicking my money on the snide though I'd have chinned him too.

i thought the dad chinned Ricky. Couldn't see Hatton putting one on his old man. True about money but what an about-turn. These people played the role of being the most normal people you could ever meet. Surely an argument over a few grand can't split a family apart :o

If I were putting lots of gear up my nose and blowing grands a week on nothing I'd hope my dad would take my money away and smack me.

we was there for a year n a half at the height of all their troubles and the only one's that really suffered were the 5 young lads waiting to turn Pro with them... training daily, working to sustain themselves. Pro debuts that kept getting cancelled and just being shelved while they all dealt with their troubles.

Not Right, and those lads should have been treated better, after all they signed them on and the Lads gave up more than a year of their lives, like doing an apprenticeship and the Tech College doesn't give you your Diploma at the end of it.

I've heard that one too. I'd prob believe it over the rumour I'd been told.

Have only met Ricky once very briefly after a show at the Liverpool Olympia and he was a nice guy. Happy to pose for photos with me and other fans.

I've also heard Ray is not a nice man. Shame how money often changes people and brings out the worst in people.

Ray Hatton used to be an enforcer,

I remember when he did the doors for Shirley Crabtree's funeral function, he threw Giant Haystacks through a bay window that night.

6 months later, Haystacks was dead.

Make of that what you will.

I've heard that Ray keeps Roberto Duran chained to an old SMEG fridge freezer in the grounds of Hatton Estates. He trots him out for after dinner speaking in Clayton-Le-Woods and Chorley then lets wealthy out of towners have their way with him...

I've got the emails to back it up.

Are we talking Giant Haystacks the wrestler or he actually threw giant haystacks through a window. Either one is impressive but if it's the latter then it proves Ray is a nasty bugger who hates farmers

Ray Hatton told a mate of mine that he would lay a carpet but he'd never eat one. Also heard he was sighted on a beach in Sicily this summer.

You do the math.

When Ray did security for Public Enemy's first UK tour in the 80's, by the time Flavor Flav got back on the plane to America, his front teeth had been knocked out and he had to have false gold ones quickly put in.

You see Ray's a stickler for punctuality.

Since that day Flavor Flav wears a giant clock around his neck so he will never be late again.

Ray Hatton, to those in the know, is one bad ass mother, also to those in the know, he dispises men who hit woman.

I recal an article in the news a couple of years back that the Hattons had a fall out with Frank Maloney. Knowing Rays reputation for violence Frank went into hiding.......

I heard that when the bogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks under the bed for Ray Hatton.

And that Ray has counted to infinity. Twice.
