Cant blame them really. They all make good money fighting in germany against Stiffs. Why ruin the gravy train against GGG lol. It would be interesting to know whether Golovkin could stop Abraham though.ikorolev wrote:I don't think Sturm, Stieglitz or Abraham will dare to fight Golovkin at this point of their careers.giacomino wrote:He'd make big bucks in fights he oughta win handily vs Canelo or Chavez. Cotto, Froch or Ward too. Unfortunately he'll probably never get Cotto and he may have to move up to make big money. Although, the Germans seem to be happy to pay big money for mismatches, so maybe he can take a few fights there

Yeah, I know Sturm, Abraham, etc won't fight him, but Germans seemed fine paying Wlad big to beat up hopeless non-German opponents. Maybe they'd do the same for 3G.
Re: Rubio overweight at 161.8
He doesnt seem to of caught on in the same way over there as those guys. I mean before he went to fight in the states he fought out there for a few years but didnt seem to be taken to the hearts of the german public like those mentioned. They're all considered germans pretty much now and the public over there love them as one of their own.giacomino wrote:Yeah, I know Sturm, Abraham, etc won't fight him, but Germans seemed fine paying Wlad big to beat up hopeless non-German opponents. Re: Rubio overweight at 161.8
Rubio could show up as a cruiserweight. It won't matter.
Re: Rubio overweight at 161.8
If GGG speaks German as "well" as English, that would explain it. Klitchko's English is good and I presume his German is even better.lefty wrote:He doesnt seem to of caught on in the same way over there as those guys. Re: Rubio overweight at 161.8
I think GG will win in 4 or 5 rounds but I could not resist a small bet at 208-1 on the draw it only needs a bang of heads inside 4 rounds, unlikely probably, Betfair.com
Re: Rubio overweight at 161.8
Rubio is clearly undisciplined, and it will show in the fight.
Re: Rubio overweight at 161.8
Rubio looked really uninspired during media workout. Maybe he was exhausted by weight drain, but more likely, he doesn't believe in a win.
