Glad I ain't the only one who loves the inside work from JCC. There is more to boxing skill than being a Mayweather or Rigondeux type.

A lot of aggressive fighters other qualities are often underated,Duran's defensive skills being one of them

Its the same with technical boxers,their heart and grit are often forgotten,Mayweather being the most obvious one

Great vid on Chocolatito, & yes, we said about his stylistic resemblance to JCC Superstar when he beat Yaegashi, did we not?

Chavez's rhythm & work setting up his attacks were a joy to behold; the bobbing under consecutive shots, the quick-jab-quick-left-hook-to-the-head then BLAMMO with the left hook underneath, the sudden straight rights when it looked like he was almost square-on, the little bursts of back-foot boxing off the jab, the head movement inside... great great fighter.

I agree.

There is still a lot of skill involved in being an effective aggressor. Some people would have you believe skill is expressed only in back-foot boxing.

Great stuff pal really enjoyed looking a this fight in a totally different way fair play
