Does anyobdy know or chat to Adam Smith, he seems like a bloke who knows his boxing and I've always quite liked him as a commentator. One thing that infuriates my is his pronounciation of Ossssscar De La Hoya. I wonder if he actually says Oscar like that in general convertation.

While Sky and FW blame each other, keep in mind the Germans brought over Harris for Urkal, and showed it free on ARD TV.
Does the relatively unknown Harris command huge paydays then? I really doubt it.
A supposed big promoter should be able to get a fighter like Harris over for his biggest draw card.
Anything less is 2nd division stuff, and his fighter knows that too.

Adam Smith shouted out that the King was wearing no clothes, and finally everyone is beginning to see. The sooner this playground bully is hounded out of boxing the better.

It would have been much more amusing to see him fuming and ranting in the background while the interview was conducted. I've never had a soft spot for Smith, but it's a question that needed to be asked (i loved the way he just changed the wording and asked exactly the same question).

Also it was interesting to hear Frank say that he needs more money from sky to make the really big fights. He really came across as a man who knows he's under a little bit of pressure.
If I was Adam Smith i would have said "I'll come to you in a minute, Frank, just let me finish with Ricky, then you can have your say".

He looks like an overweight version of Claude Abrams.

German boxing matches get HUGE coverage, so although it might have been shown free, the advertising revenue would have been very big. Bear in mind that most PPV's shows don't get 8 million buys, which is what Sven Ottke shows used to regularly get....
