Burns v Cook was an utter disgrace, should never have been sanctioned (a win over Youssef Al Hamidi after TWO years out does NOT earn a title shot)

But Cook, his trainer, manager etc MUST have known he was in no fit state to fight.
Barker did exactly the same again strum. There was no way this way just a freak injury they knew well before and wanted 1 last pay day.

Still a bit alarming that Ramogoadi was able to put him down in the first place.

The Dr who checks them out pre bout must not be too stringent, it makes the whole thing both a con and a farce.

my argument is Nicky must have been fit to make super feather, he walks about welter so to make the weight he needed to have trained hard
Yes he had an old injury but he wasn't to know it would go in the fight

Abril is just another overrated Cuban. He's nothing special.

Perhaps not, but he's still 'special' enough to humiliate Matthews.

Humliated? Theres no chance Derry will give up so even if he is beaten (which i am confident he wont be) he will go out on his shield and will of been beaten by the better man on the night if you think losing in a challenge against a legitimate world champion is humiliating then im sorry mate but why bother following the sport?
