Davey Moore won the light-middle title at 23 and in only his 9th fight, put together some good defenses until he got destroyed by Duran. Oddly enough he would stop Benitez after that fight, but was seen as shopworn after losing to Duran, he did get another title shot, but again beaten badly by the end of it. Finished by the time he was in his late 20's.

David Reid is a good one.,I don't think you could consider Bojado to ever have been shot, he just never made the grade.

How old is Tyson Marquez? Pretty young to be as shot as he is, I'd say.

Colin McMillan turned pro with a ton of hype and was expected (especially by me) to go on to great things. His loss to Robinson effectively ended his proper world title dreams.

Riddick Bowe was shot to pieces by the age of 27. He was the same age as Fury is now when he fought Golota and had been a pro for more or less the same length of time. By the time he'd been a pro for as long as Joshua has now he'd fought Bert Cooper, Tyrell Biggs and Tony Tubbs.

I think he was with Bradford Boys in the amateurs, maybe that Yorkshire angle helped develop an Ingle style of boxing! In the pro's I am pretty sure Jack Trickett looked after him.

Oh yeah, that's the one I couldn't think of - Vargas is the most shot I have ever seen from a guy in his 20's. Seeing his final performance against Mayorga was like watching an old man.

I think the Trinidad fight came far too early for him and ruined him as a fighter. Trinidad did the same to David Reid, who was also never the same and 'shot' at a young age. Poor management there. Trinidad, like Golovkin now, wasa a beast below middleweight.

Bernard Hopkins. Such a shame that a 49 year old man couldn't cut it with Krusher in his last outing.

I'd have thought El Nica would have been ruined by Marquez following their second bout but he's looked good recently.

As for Marquez he's just 27 but a very old 27 as you suggested.

Yeah Concepcion looked brilliant last time out, back to his aggressive and exciting beat...maybe was the move up that helped.
