I don't agree - Klitschko seems to be standing fully erect (boom boom) but Fury can definitely get another two inches if he had the same stance.

Not seeing that at all. The difference between them in photos together has consistently been less than 3 inches too; many people exaggerate their heights and think Fury is guilty of that.

Bamboozled by that. Did Tyson have his shoes on during that staredown? I've stood in front of both of them and Fury appeared noticeably taller. Trainers can add a couple of inches. Fury is very light too, did they read his weight correctly - if so, I need to go on a diet sharpish.

Cheers. Wlad's shoes have significantly more elevation thsn Tyson's.

Doubt those runners would add much more than an inch..let alone cancel out the listed three inch difference.

Also, regarding the love handles that some have mentioned---I suspect that Fury could stand to lose some more flab, but it seems to me like he naturally has wide hips that flare out, giving the appearance of him being in worse shape than he likely is. Even in elite bodybuilding, where the competitors have extremely low body fat, you can see that some have this type of structure.

Correct.

The lighter weight he has come in at is probably down to him shrinking 3"

I wonder if he boxes southpaw or orthodox.
I've got a feeling he's going to box southpaw on the back foot and work of his jab.
His footwork is very underrated and this tactic could possibly work if he can keep it up for the full 12.

I hope he doesn't shafted by the judges,if they are needed that is.

He needs to steer clear of southpaw imo. It's ok against powder puff punching 6'2 plodding heavyweights with little ambition but this is a different kettle of fish. Stick to orthodox and set a good pace. Make Wlad work, all of course without getting too reckless

I hope he keeps his head and doesn't let the ocassion get the better of him. Its all new to him and he is a little excitable!

In fact as a Wlad fan I hope Fury comes out as a southpaw throwing those backhanded jabs. I think it's in Fury's best interest to try to get inside, be as busy as possible, hit and hold, and generally do what he can to wear down and tire out Wlad. I believe that some people, hopefully Fury's team as well, are overestimating his ability to outbox Wlad from a distance with cute jabs and footwork.

Both guys look like they usually do, Fury looked quietly confident and Wlad does not appear worried whatsoever. Definitely respect from both guys, i reckon first couple rounds will be cagey.

This should be entertaining as soon as the first big shot lands.

This is the first boxing match I've been bang up for since Vitali v Lewis.

Personally I do think this will be a virtual re-run of the Pulev fight, but should be great while it lasts.

If its half as good as that we're in for a treat. Would be shocked to see the same level of quality or high levels of punishment in this fight mind. Neither of these chins on saturday could take that punishment in my opinion.

Klitschko wearing some sort of built-up trainers imo.

Fury definitely has a few inches on him.
