Awful.... Any white collar fighter above 15 stone wouldn't see him as intimidating (physique notwithstanding).

Anyone putting Frank on a show is a heartless user and manipulator.

The original interview was with Piers Morgan. Why was Hearn even bringing up Bruno in the first place it seems it's that that got Bruno started on it.

Assume Eddie was saying that AJ would have beaten Bruno in his prime - not calling him out now. Watched the interview and he's not right and needs good people around him.

He just does not look right. If you did not know he suffered mental issues, you could guess looking at that.

First fight I ever saw live was Big Frank v Bugner. Massive fan even though I knew his limitations. I just do not think he will ever be well again and will spend the remainder of his life facing these demons. Poor chap.

Morgan is one of the biggest pieces of sh1t in the media world... he has changed allegiance and political stance as often as he has changed his socks. He worked for the Sun, NOTW, Mirror and now he pretends to be a champion of civil rights, telling ordinary people what to think and live their life, whilst sitting in his multi million pound ivory towers. What a pudendum

Surely he can't a sniff of a licence?

Regarding the pads, he is 54, ain't fought for 20 years and given his achievements, he don't need to look any better than a big oaf pitter patting away. He's been to places in the sport that 99.99% can only ever dream about. Its good to see him keeping fit and active but he needs help, proper help. I fear the Bruno story won't end well.

Me too I am afraid....the big man is so vulnerable, almost childlike these days.

I think Frank is going to need constant and very close support and professional advice; the moment it slips he gets embroiled in a mess like this.

His daughter Nicola seems really switched-on and aware....so I really hope she is close to Frank and has the power/authority to intervene.

I think it would be a different story if he was just planning a couple of exhibition fights but it would be dangerous for him to fight at a high level now.

Watching the interview he's clearly upset about some of the derogatory comments made by promoters, pros and the media.

When Joshua got tagged the comment being made was that he turned into frank Bruno for 2 rounds. I personally think a prime frank Bruno would probably one of the best heavy weights if he were to be fighting in this era.

Yup...a truly vile, giant skid-mark :TU:

Anyone ever see the footage of Morgan facing Bret lee in the nets during lunch, at Melbourne?

If you listen carefully you'll hear a very loud brummie shouting repeatedly 'KILL him, KILL him, KNOCK HIS FUCKIN HEAD OFF, KIIIIIIILLLLL HIIIIIIIIIIIIIM!'

one of the prouder moments of my life. Every time the ball hit Morgan I screamed with ecstasy.

I also managed to get 'get on with it Nicholas, you WANKER' at Mark Nicholas which you could clearly hear over the mike.

It was a good days work.

This is just about the most ignorant statement ive ever read on these pages. Who are you to make such a statement mate? He was fine for all his adult life until he started talking cocaine and other drugs.Plenty of people have blips in life and recover fully....David Bowie was one of them. You are not a mental health expert or a doctor .you shouldnt write things like this.what if frank read it?

That was you?

Fair fornicating play. :TU:

Although I have a slight admiration for Mark Nicholas, who always looks like he's arrived at the ground having shagged someone he shouldn't, Terry Thomas style.

As a person, genuinely one of the nicest British blokes you could meet but I sincerely hope he never makes a return to the ring, as a boxing pundit definitely and I'll even go so far as to consider him as a potentially good trainer or potentially a referee in the sport then maybe and I mean maybe as a referee, as for fighting - NEVER AGAIN.

I don't think any Brit promoter would even entertain it. It would do their reputation awful damage. Really sad though.

Sad news. He needs the publics love I think but he is putting himself in all sorts of danger. This is why I think they should set an age limit.

Terrifically sad state of affairs really.

It is a delight to see how the boxing public have reacted though, nothing but worry and support for big Frank!

He's even taken to calling out Anthony Joshua!

Poor AJ; a young heavyweight trying to make his way up the rankings & he keeps getting called out by ancient HWs who most people have either forgotten about & couldn't care less about anymore.

First David Haye returns & knocks over a corpse then starts calling out Joshua, now Bruno who is not only old enough to be Joshua's father, but David Haye's too is now calling him out! :oo

Will it be Joe Bugner next?
