Sam looks like a dad in an "we lost 20 kilos in 2 months without exercising" advert

Fight delayed due to some issues with handwraps, or at least perceived issues anyway.

Sam didn't get to hear the bell to end round 2.

First time he's been stopped in nearly 10 years and only the 2nd stoppage loss of his entire career.

That knee of his is stuffed. It's time Sam.

Soliman looked horrible tonight! Unbalanced and totally outclassed! Hopefully gives it away

As an American living in California, I have admired Sam Soliman as a fighter. But after he looked absolutely terrible at the age of 42 in his bout tonight, I have to say that he should retire.

I've been a long time supporter of Sam but I really hope he gives it up. We all know his style but his legs seemed to have no strength. He landed a number of shots early which had no effect on Derev. Sam is a warrior and champion in the true sense of the word. Prepared to travel the globe to fight whoever it took to achieve his ultimate goal. I really hope financially he has achieved what he deserves and can hang them up gracefully.

Good call, and there are hints in this interview Sam might call it a day :
