Johnny 'the entertainer' Nelson
seems ironic as almost all of his career provided me with no entertainment at all.

Jess Harding had a bad one, 'the potters bar terminator'. I think it lasted for one fight, he was given it by Barry Hearn in the lead up to the fight with Gary mason. Mason destroyed him and although Jess fought on, he never used that moniker again.

Or how about the same but in reverse and using the surname as in "Hughie Lewis 'Fists of' Fury" ?

I remember watching a tv interview and the interviewer asked Carl Thompson where he got his nickname CAT (probably expecting some reply about fast reflexes or something).
To which Tjompson replied, err my middle name is Adrian ......
