On his twitter page this morning he said he was off to the Euro's to have it. Can't be having much trouble putting weight on it.

it is a first to hear a boxer suffered such
injury in camp. shoulders, back, all well and
good in boxing, but spreading your ankle?
there is a reason why football players have
spread ankles and boxers have torn shoulders.

a british thing ... :) ...

anyway, two brexits in one week ... weird.

How Fury got injured is virtually irrelevant. Fact is he is injured and although capable of heading off to the Euro it has impacted his preparation for the fight.

Injuries happen.. this definitely hurts Vlad, he put his old body through a long tough camp for nothing.

Payback for when Vlad postponed the first fight.

I do love the way that the Fury's have tied Wladimir up in knots from before their first fight.

Wladimir & his team are so used to being in control of everything that they just cannot handle this.

This postponement is another thing that will wind up Klitschko & probobaly benefit Fury more.

me too. i am just surprised this happens
to a pro so short before a fight. this kind
of injury is a frequent result of sports like
football with a lot of fast running, stopping
and turning. i am just surprised you get this
from skipping, running or sparring.

when i had this, it was always from fast sprints
and sudden turns. i am not saying it is not legit
and me writing about it in the first place is more
result of being pissed with fury's weird appearances
i guess.

Sadly, there will be probably (again) more action in pre-fight activities like press conferences, interviews, sudden postponements than during actual fight. No surprise people do not care much about postponing a fight no one is interested in watching anyway (if you are British or Ukrainian, you are excused ).

World heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has had an expensive round - buying drinks for a bar crammed with England fans in Nice.

Fury, wearing an England jersey, arrived unannounced in Nice's historic old town on Sunday, the evening before England plays Iceland in the round of 16 at the European Championship.

Fury was mobbed by the fans and led them, pied piper-like, into a nearby bar before buying Jaegerbombs for them all.
