Shame. I guess someone that heavy going over on their ankle would cause issues.

Injuries happen.. this definitely hurts Vlad, he put his old body through a long tough camp for nothing.

Payback for when Vlad postponed the first fight.

Not at all, totally legit imo. I've done the same thing many times and it looks exactly like that the second day.

I would have been surprised had the fight went through without any issues. At this point I'm surprised whenever any big fight goes through without any delays or controversy in this circus of a sport.

Bit surprised it happened so close to fight time.
I don't think this fight will happen in the expected time injury considered.
Question might be who will both of them fight next.

If you're weighing 280 pounds you're more likely to sprain your ankle... I don't think the weight was coming fast enough or uniformly enough... They had to do something... Fury is going to have to be in fair physical condition to win... I would sprain my ankle if I had to get another 25lbs of flab off 3 weeks ahead of the fight.. Everyone in the world is telling Fury "DON'T BE BUSTER DOUGLAS!!!" ... Just say, "Sorry mates...can we push this fight back 2 months??? Thank You"

Yea this may be payback and it doesn't hurt the fury English fans as much as they don't need to rebook plane tickets etc like in Germany. I like fury. Hope he wins again but I did want to see the fight sooner rather than later.

I think Vlad was starting to get the mental edge back, all the pressure was off him, and the psychology part has always been key. This postponement came at a perfect time for Fury, worst possible for Vlad.

me too. i am just surprised this happens
to a pro so short before a fight. this kind
of injury is a frequent result of sports like
football with a lot of fast running, stopping
and turning. i am just surprised you get this
from skipping, running or sparring.

when i had this, it was always from fast sprints
and sudden turns. i am not saying it is not legit
and me writing about it in the first place is more
result of being pissed with fury's weird appearances
i guess.

that's my thinking. i doubt you get
this kind of injury in a usual training
camp in boxing. in the end it is result
of fury being unprofessional about his
profession.

Does anyone have videos of him ranting how he would fight with one hand rather than pull out.

Anyone saying that this injury is legit is clueless. It was clearly fabricated and ESPN even announced that last night stating someone close to Fury leaked that he was not in shape to take the fight.

Another postponed fight. It's just been an awful year. Boxing contracts have to start figuring in these postponements and hitting these boxers harder for it.
