Buddy McGirt is the man right now. To get in Gatti's head the way he has, prolong his career and give him a much needed plan b is quite an achievement.

McGirt and Roach are both great trainers, McGirt is an excellent cornerman (something Manny is not), and a great strategist, whereas I think Roach's best asset is probably his ability to push his fighters in training and win their respect.

Nacho Bernstein is a guy who gets overlooked a lot.

At the risk of sounding blasphemous, are people maybe overrating McGrit a touch, taking some of the credit away from Gatti?
Arturo has always know how to box well, I remember watching his excellent win over Patterson for the title, before he went to the wars.

Buddy was also in The Black Rhino's corner v Tyson, and he was training Bojado as well.

McGirt is the one who reminded him he knew how to box, and got him to go back to it, for which he deserves credit. He's an excellent cornerman too. Calm and collected, succint in his choice of words, and always talks sense.

I think Etienne just left the strategy in the dressing room though didn't he, much as Julius Francis did.

Jim McDonnell has a chance to redeem himself with Williams this week, I've always begin a fan of McDonnell's until I saw the state of WIlliams when he fought Sam.

The way he had Takaloo focussed for Farnell was terrific, but then Williams let him down.

I really hope Williams comes in 240-243 on Friday and is lean, mean and focussed.

Tyson is ripe for ANOTHER taking, I just hope WIlliams realises it.
