I find it quite ludicrous that anybody would condone Hatton's behaviour; if someone is so out of control that they can't laugh off a jibe at their local football team, without smashing the place up, then they need to have a word with themselves, that's the behaviour of someone who can't control their temper.

I'm sure more details will come out in due course, as it seems likely the CPS would pursue a case where an ex world champ boxer assaults someone.

However, the fact is, as an ex fighter, Hatton is far more likely to be viewed with contempt by a magistrate for beating up a member of the public, even in self defence, let alone in an instance where he's set upon someone with a group of friends, so it's pretty stupid getting involved in a fracas like that, drink your pint, go have a line, and laugh it off.

Yeah you should really be out there having a good time. I love getting pissed and laughing myself into walking like an old chinaman and thats how it should be, good times. Everyone deserves something like that in life, whatever does it for them.

However when youre on the piss, its easy to go from one extreme to the other. I dont know the details of Hattons incident and just assumed from what I read that it was a one on one dust up. I dont know the details and Hatton will have his side of the story. Former world champs dont just start fights for nothing surely.

No, we need to see more details, but clearly, he's being accused of more than a one on one dust up.

I'm not sure that Hatton's in a very good frame of mind right now, he seems to be making poor decisions. I mean, how many people are going to deliberately goad a former world champ into a one on one dust up - not really a wise course of action.

Maybe hatton is surrounding himself with the wrong people, maybe alchohol and drugs have gotten hold of him to the extent that he's making extremely stupid decisions, or not even being in control of himself. I've seen fights happen when people are drunk over nothing before, one minute everyone's laughing, the next it's a bar brawl. Hatton needs some people to look out for him a little I suspect, rather than people who encourage him to drink. Scott Harrison comes to mind, when his supposed mates were taking pictures of him pissed out of his mind asleep in the pub and sharing them.

Good question! Seems like it's the place to go for a bloodbath, does anything good happen there?

Sounds like it. Someone invite the GGG vs. Brook judges there, destroyed in a dark alley seems like an appropriate vacation.

So you think it's right that a former professional boxer beats up a member of the public, that's just being a flat track bully.
Im saying it use to happen a lot back in the day but the men of today are more..."sensitive", well some on here are. I'm a fighter and when people want a scrap at the pub its fun times for fighters ONLY. Its like a drug. I actually build up their confidence by saying my favourite line "come outside and give me a hiding please" somehow this line doesnt work to a lot of pussies.

If a member of the public wants to step to the dog and gets fuked up then thats their choice. Thats the way its always been but these days with mens moisturisers, gay marriages and sex changes, some men without realising it, are pussies compared to the dogs of yesteryear.

I'd fight Ricky at a pub but only if he pissed me off. Id prefer it in the ring but itll be an honour that Id prefer over a photo.
This post is surely the point where this poster has become a parody of him/herself.

To get stabbed by random cokeheads, or beaten up by fat former 140lb champions.

This line is particularly notable, not only for the jaunty nickname, but use of the 3rd person.

Haha haha its not THAT funny, seriously. "Special one?" Your laughter is that of a "special one". Go wipe your nose, brush your one tooth smile, put on your Oil of Ulan, look in the mirror and say to yourself in your natural Chewbacca voice, "Im special".

Getting into a fight with someone because they insulted your favorite sports team is the behavior of an idiot. That's all I got to say about that.

Oh do get over yourself. It's a forum, if I want to comment, I will. This isn't your local pub where everyone who opens their mouth is offered out for a brawl by you.

Did I say anything you are suggesting? Did I say that? No so dont dont go making things up, pathetic. Did I say dont comment? No. Did I say this a pub? No. Did I say lets brawl with anyone in the forum? No. Then what the fuk are you talking about?
