Ricky Hatton pub brawl in Tenerife

Post by Andrew Kearney »

Ricky Hatton is alleged to have been, and is currently being criminally investigated for being involved in a pub brawl and fist fight in Tenerife, after a pub patron made a joke about English football club Manchester City losing a match. Ricky is reported to have flew into a drunken rage at the joke and assaulted said patron with his friends. The patron in question, one, Mr. Stephen O'Hagan suffered broken ribs, nose, and badly injured to the face, identified Ricky Hatton as being the man who kicked him in the face, punched him in the face and stomach, and stomped on his glasses. This news comes just weeks after Hatton posted messages on social media suggesting he was contemplating suicide.

Doesn't seem to be in a good place at the moment. Drinking isn't going to help. I don't know the full story but he can't be attacking folk. Only gonna land him in more bother.

Scott Harrison done the same. Full of drink and drugs and throwing his weight about like a wee yob and it landed him right deep in the shìt!

Couple of Aussie promoters with whom he supposedly co-promoted told me he needed psychiatric treatment & urgent at that. From time to time his brain ventured into bygone years. Grog certainly ain't helping

Hatton used to be one of my top fav fighters for years.
We're both of good old fashioned working class UK stock originally, ( though my great-granddad emigrated to the Toronto area with his family shortly after the turn of the 20th century & then, on across the Peace Bridge into The States a decade or so later ) & whilst I was never even remotely near his class back during my ammy & ( brief ) pro days, I was a walk in banger like Ricky was, who's body attack was my best attribute as well.
Though, I'll refrain from any further use of that analogy from now on as the mere mention of Hatton's name pisses me off now. After reading several different accounts of Hatton's latest nonsense.
Deep in drink ( & likely drugs as well ) or not, there's absolutely no excusing his being a bully to this poor individual nor that other one earlier on in the week either. It's just reprehensible IMO.
Especially since the beer swilling, sodding multiple fry ups & take aways a day Manchurian lout couldn't even manage to be an utter ass on his own. Nope, apparently, he needed the help of a group of his pub crawling friends & hangers on. :-?
I've always hated bullies & after reading all about these recent incidents & recalling other such mentions over the years regarding similar behavior, I believe them.

One of the worst, if not the worst airline disaster ever occurred in Tenerife. Around 600 people died when two airplanes collided on the crowded runway.

Rickys a scraper. If he wants to fight, so be it. Back in the day, pub scraps was normal. Nowadays with the pussy men around, "oh Ricky shouldnt be fighting" ahh shut da fuk up. When youre a fighter, all you know and love is fighting.

So you think it's right that a former professional boxer beats up a member of the public, that's just being a flat track bully.

Could a motivated Ricky Hatton come back and beat up Paulie Malignaggi again?
Who would you pick in the rematch, if held Dec 26, 2016.

With the amount of abuse Hatton's body has been through, I doubt it.

Im saying it use to happen a lot back in the day but the men of today are more..."sensitive", well some on here are. I'm a fighter and when people want a scrap at the pub its fun times for fighters ONLY. Its like a drug. I actually build up their confidence by saying my favourite line "come outside and give me a hiding please" somehow this line doesnt work to a lot of pussies.

If a member of the public wants to step to the dog and gets fuked up then thats their choice. Thats the way its always been but these days with mens moisturisers, gay marriages and sex changes, some men without realising it, are pussies compared to the dogs of yesteryear.

I'd fight Ricky at a pub but only if he pissed me off. Id prefer it in the ring but itll be an honour that Id prefer over a photo.

So if you don't use men's moisturisers I can only assume you use women's, seems gay.

Sounds to me like hatton and his mates battered someone for making a joke about a football club. I dont see anything manly or macho about beating someone mob handed. Sounds like actions of some pissed up out of control buffoon. There may be more to it, but thats all i can glean from the story. If you take pkeasure out of scrapping with people who fancy a ruck, enjoy, but thats not what happened here, he beat up the proprietor of a boozer over a bit of a verbal dig.
