Yeah Briggs is broke and needed to cash in, haye said he understood why Briggs wanted to be paid so much but said it just wasn't viable.

I actually understand where Briggs is coming from he's boxed what 60-70 fights and is broke, he has one chance to land a payday that will set him up for the rest of his life against a dangerous opponent which might retire him. He would be daft to take that fight without being paid well, if he was in his 30's I would have a different opinion, but I would like to see him sail off into retirement from the sport he has devoted his life to with a nice fat nest egg.

Hopefully he gets haye for the WBA title and earns a couple of mil on B0xnati0n / BT.

David Haye will be 1 fight away from a world title shot now the division is so fragmented. He only has to sit and wait now. He is where big money is for a poor heavyweight champion who wants a quick defence for maximum capitol. Hayes next fight will be in the new year against an very easy opponant that has a highly inflatable record. Then he will get a world title shot.
