Most of what you would consider the proper 'loony left' in this country (UK) were pro-Brexit anyway. Corbyn has been anti-EU for years, Dennis Skinner voted leave and so on. The serious hard-left are probably more against it than the hard-right given their opposition economically; far-right opposition is basically summed up as anti-immigration which has always been the case.

The central, non-loon ground was arguably the biggest unification of British politics for years, and I don't think anyone can define Blair, Major, Cameron and Brown as 'loony left.'

If being opposed to brexit and Trump makes you a loony then I'm happy to be one.

Which cultures and religions?

I hasten to add I'm not trying to trip you up. I think criticism of certain cultures is completely valid and I view all religions as essentially nonsense, some of which are dangerous nonsense.

But I'd like to know which believe being a paedophile is acceptable.

That article is nothing to do with making paedophilia 'acceptable' anyway.

So according to you, in islam it's acceptable to be a paedophile?

I'm not sure you've thought this through to be honest.

And Tyson said making homosexuality legal in the bible days would have been looked upon as no different to making paedophilia legal now would be. That was him comparing!
The bible is a book written by man, it's wrong.

Because left wing lOONY , tree hugging , fooking idiots , always use them to mis quote him .. This peanut seems to love posting and mis quoting what Tyson said ,,, he has done it on a few threads , and now was trying to bait me into saying and naming a religion or culture .. Personaly i'm sick to fooking death , of loopy , left wing PC correct greenies , all over the world having to much to say ,,, .

Tyson was mis quoted , Tyson is not an educated man , but Tyson is a realist , and speaks from the heart .. I don't agree with all his views , but i do agree with what he said ,, 50 -70 years ago talking about gay marraige , ect , would be in the same catagory then , has talking about legalising Pedapheolia now , thats all he said , and fookwits CONTINUALLY misquote him to sprout there own values . .

If mr dick , supports , pedaphelia , and abortions ,, save the trees , and lets make London a necleur free zone ,, fine , but fook off and troll someone else not me .

Mr Dick ,, you were looking for a reaction ,,, THERE YOU GOT ONE .

Its all facken political correctness gone mad. Back in the day a poof was probably a nonce too. They all at it those guys right. Can't trust em round kids. Was in the bible all that being wrong.

Crazy lefties saying you can't call a paki a paki too. Bloody Guardian readers. Lets get rid of all them muslim Poles stinking our country up and make Britain great again.

Tyson Fury had it bang on. Man is a genius. Course he never went to school and can't read or write but he is a lege. Stick all women in the kitchen or bedroom where they belong. All queers are paedos so lets round em all up. Send all the non whites back where they came from.

I'm a Christian and believe in the bible so if you disagree your racist.

I only started this thread to comment on Saunders' overall quality as a boxer, and to say Tyson Fury looked a poor soul last Saturday night. It's now started world war three!!
It's great this website, the entertainment's excellent.

He didn't say that you dick.
He made a direct comparison between legalised abortion, homosexuality and paedophilia. The guy is absolute grade-A scum.
That doesn’t make you grade D scum, nevermind grade A.

The bible is a book written by man, it's wrong.
Much of it written thousands of years ago, borrowed from even older texts, translated multiple times from ancient languages, and then turned into a religious movement most of which began 2 centuries after Christ died.

Anybody using the bible as some sort of reliable guide to life is well, gullible to say the least.

You say gullible, I say indoctrinated, swayed, comforted - be that spiritually or simply socially...gives them something to attach anchor to and fill their time. Many probably feel it’s appropriate/ normal as their parents did it so it feels completely natural - which is little bit like having been indoctrinated.
All manner of people do all manner of things that they know don’t make any sense - smoking, gambling etc, but are otherwise intelligent people. So actually, to me it’s more gullible to think that everyone who reads a bible is gullible, in my opinion.
My view is that religion is a bit of a blight, to put it mildly. It’s that deeply interwoven within the history of humans though, that I actually cannot even conceive of how an alternate, religion-free human race might have evolved.

Well, I don't disagree. I was brought up a catholic, went to church every week with my mum, until at about age 12, I told her I thought it sounded like a load of bollox, and made so sense, at which point she told me I didn't have to come.

Sadly, there seems to be a part of the human psyche that looks for the structure that religion provides, in fact there's some neurological evidence for it, otherwise it's hard to explain why we wouldn't have escaped it by now.

Very unchristian chaps! The fires of hell await you.
But seriously, it doesn't really matter if you're a Christian or not, we all live in a Christian country, our laws, monarchy and institutions are based on Christian principles, and if anyone doesn't want to accept these values then there's plenty of other places they can live in perfect harmony.
