Guys like Haye and Parker are very arguable though IMO.

Has he got a low performing Xmas single out?Killer Blow wrote:Haye isn't even top 20.
On talent I think he is, but he's definitely lacking the recent resultsKiller Blow wrote:Haye isn't even top 20.crusader wrote:Is Fury still active? If so, he's definitely ahead of Ortiz

Yeah until he beats someone with a pulse for the first time in four and a half years there's no way he's top 20. Bellew doesn't count either.crusader wrote:On talent I think he is, but he's definitely lacking the recent resultsKiller Blow wrote:Haye isn't even top 20.crusader wrote:Is Fury still active? He has looked like a tall piece of chocolate shitt dipped in concrete. Fighting like a statue, it was embarrassing the allen fight. He hardly looks the terrifying world beater so far. But I know of Jennings who he destroyed and Thompson who are very good fighter imo and seeing what Ortiz did to them is intriguing.
I suspect Ortiz is adjusting to the awful food and climate.

Yeah right!!! ... All these Heavyweights are going to be crying to face him if he puts somebody in the deep freeze -- or does another Bryant Jennings.Enlightened-One wrote:Why would anyone grant Ortiz an opportunity to engage in a big money fight against a big name on the back of his disappointing performances against Scott and Allen?Jip wrote:lets be clear about it.
give him 4 month of proper training, give him a big money fight against a big name and we'll see the ortiz version destroyed jennings, thompson. this version parker, josh and wilder would have a problem against. cause wilder is behind training, parker totaly failed to impress and josh never faced somebody on the level of ortiz.
Ortiz has to realise that he has to look impressive against the "little" names in order to generate enough economic demand to see him share the ring against the "big" names.
Food ? The UK has the most diverse food products in the world?Bricks wrote:got my first few "live" glimpses of mr Ortiz here in the UK.

Has there ever been a fighter that looks boring inside and outside the ring capable of regularly engaging in big fights against the biggest names, whilst earning big paydays?Kalan wrote:Yeah right!!! ... From a casual British fight fan perspective he is, because he was unimpressive in his last two bouts were. I know he's capable of more, but the perception of UK fight fans is what's important as they're funding his paydays.Killer Blow wrote:Ortiz isn't boring at all.Enlightened-One wrote:Has there ever been a fighter that looks boring inside and outside the ring capable of regularly engaging in big fights against the biggest names, whilst earning big paydays?Kalan wrote:

Jameel McCline did it, but his situation was a little different as the Heavyweight division was a little more wild back then.Enlightened-One wrote:Has there ever been a fighter that looks boring inside and outside the ring capable of regularly engaging in big fights against the biggest names, whilst earning big paydays?Kalan wrote:Yeah right!!! ...
