I would keep Wale away from Theophane if I was you Tea, Definately a bad move for Wale that one.

I checked out the website and it's pretty nifty Recommended. I see he has had a trip to Cuba, good luck on finding anything out on Boxing over there...when i went they were really reluctant to talk about it...Joel Casamayor is a swear word

what do ppl feel about Murtala (Tony) Abdul Salem in the Pro ranks? I think he'll do another season as amateur, which I feel a bit of a waste of time to be honest but the aim is to turn over eventually. I reckon technically he is a class act and can bang but you got to get ppl behind you in the pros and ultimately it is a business so, you have to be able to sell tickets.

How can wale be a prospect ? he hasnt boxed in nearly 12 months after having a life and death struggle with journeymman gary cummings.
And as for theophane I saw him box at nottingham against kirk he gets hit far too often, and against a worn out david kirk that shouldnt happen.
Unfortunately niether are going anywhere

Kel Brook and Amir Ali are two young prospects to look out for.Both ligh-welters,may be wrong about Brook,he looks like he's getting bigger everytime i see him!!
Thought Theophane did well against Kirk for his fourth fight.True he didn't look great against Taylor but he was last on after a long tv show..gloved up early as a possible live swing.Not an excuse but most boxers will tell ya thats a bit of a drainer.
Looked a 100% better against Brophy,and then Mittoo.Obviously just journeymen but thats the level he's boxing at at the moment.This time next year everyone will have a clearer picture to look at regarding how far he'll go.

Good comment "d", I agree with your view on Kel Brook and Amir Ali although I am surprised Kel Brook has gone pro so soon. Felt he could have done more as a senior in the Amateurs. Also I agree with your astute comments on not judging a new pro too early on.

Hey Maverick,
think they turned Brook over early knowing that if they take their time,his style which already suits the pro game,will develop alot better.By the time this kid gets to 21 or so,he's going to be very very hot.
Same sort of reasoning why i turned Ali pro so young,don't think the amateur game would have benefited him as much as a couple 'learning' yrs in the pro's will.
Anthony Small by the way...love this guy! He came up to spar a couple of experienced pro's i manage.The guy is a big prospect.Gave away weight,experience and still looked very very good.With the personality he has too,wish i had him in my stable!!

I'm very excited about Kell Brook in the pro's he looks pure quality to me and I wish him all the best
