If the goal is 'hit and don't get hit' then Lara did the job better IMO. If it's 'keep going forward and throwing so it looks like you're dominating the other guy' then maybe Canelo. But as I say the fight was close.
Canelo didn't dominate. His alleged body shots didn't hurt Lara, because most of them were not landing clean. Lara was landing a lot of good jabs.
