The fact that Wlad didn't complain and hasn't complained says it all. It wasn't early.
As others have said I'd not have been surprised if it was stopped after the second knockdown in the final round. A very heavy knockdown and Wlad looked gone.

His legs looked totally gone after the first, he did well to get back up and get knocked down again. I felt the ref was over generous after the first KD and seemed to give him plenty of time.

I'd not have been surprised if it was stopped after the first knockdown in the final round, Klitschko was was barely standing. it was not an entirely bad stoppage i might add, i would have understood it more if it had been stopped after the previous knockdown as there was a bit of a long count..........

A good stoppage and if you wanted to argue I'd say if anything it was a little too late, because if the ref had had his wits about him, and made Wlad walk towards him after the first knockdown, he would have been all over the shop. His legs were gone. and an oldish fighter like that, in front of a powerhouse puncher, you have to look after.
