It's because they're not blinded with envy & hatred like you Horse. I've said before sit back now & enjoy because you are going to have plenty to hate on x
So is the Fielding fight on then? When you reckon they'll be out and where?

Cox is boxing Lewis Taylor for the WBA Inter-Continental on the undercard of Brook v Spence.

Lewis Taylor is currently ranked 19th in Britain at middleweight by BoxRec.

Shouldn't the standard be a little higher for these Inter-Continental titles?

Shouldn't they at least pretend that the title holds a little bit of prestige?

This is better than the dross Cox has been recently facing, however, Taylor was comfortable beaten by Luke Keeler last time out and was also defeated by Tommy Langford last year.

Cox should be making easy work of Taylor if he's the puncher he claims to be.

I cant see this fight happening.

Immediately after his last fight in the dressing room, his first comment to IFL was "I am not saying I am above domestic level but ...." and then proceeded to go on about wanting world titles.

Between him, Murray and the Smiths they are like that Nicola Sturgeon one - they keep wanting another go until they get the answer that they want.

Cox is fighting Lewis Taylor which is classic matchroom matchmaking.

Bollocks belt and vs a fighter moving up.

Didn't win a round against Luke Keeler last time out; yep, seems like a Cox opponent.

He beat jack in the amateurs but I don't know about sparring
Considering the vast gulf in levels that both men have fought in recent years I don't think people should put much emphasis on that win.

Haven't seen Cox fight anyone decent yet so have no idea how good he really is, but Rocky has shown his level a couple times.

Rocky is a solid, respectable British/fringe Euro level, which is more than can be said about Cox's other opponents, but if Cox is half the fighter people say he is then he should make a statement against him.

I agree I certainly don't mean he'd beat jack if they were to fight now, but it's not too bad to use as a general guide that he had potential. Indiscipline and distractions and he's not got the best out of himself. He's unproven even st British level

The only half decent fighter Cox has been in with was the comenwealth title fight he was getting outboxed and had to resort to punching his opponent relentlessly in the bollox whilst the ref turned a blind eye it was one of the worst home fighter robberys I've ever seen when it went to the scorecards it wasn't even in front of a boxing crowd it was a black tie job and even they booed cox out of the ring

I can see Cox being DQ'd as soon as he steps up his level of opposition. He can't control his emotions.

Cox hits hard, trust me, he's knocked out some quality fighters in sparring, including Olympic medalists, gold, silver & bronze, world am champions & current pro world champions you all rave about in 16oz gloves and headguards, granted distractions and temperament have held him back but he's a man now and is in a great place and looking on fire, jamie knocks out Fielding, Ryder, Paul smith, and anyone else domestically, you will see first hand 27th, guarantee he will knock Taylor out, Jamie has a fantastic engine, work rate, speed, chin, power, footwork, movement, boxing ability and boxing brain, I'm surprised at how much stick he gets and is so underrated tbh imo by so many so called boxing experts. That's just my opinion, time will tell and imo everyone will see

To be honest, an outsider hasn't got much to go on - he has been a pro for 10 years and he hasn't boxed anybody yet.

The only fight I have seen him in is the one against the African lad who got punched in the bollox all night before being kicked in the bollox by the judges.

That's more been down to previous management and promoters not jamie and his team he hasn't fought no big names yet, and all anyone does is constantly refer back to 1 fight where both Jamie's hands were smashed to bits from very early on, so bad in fact he was told by numerous top surgeons and specialists he would never fight again, granted that's not a excuse but like Ricky Hatton used to say, it's not tiddly winks, it's a hurt business and win by any means necessary imo, Jamie's not the first and won't be the last fighter who's been involved in a fight like that

We could get into a circular argument about why his manager/promoter didn't get him a meaningful opponent in 10 years when Cox and his trainer were asking for it.

The second bit - hopefully you will have the same opinion if someone starts whacking Cox in the bollox, sticking the head etc. before robbing him of a decision.

It has happened bripez, did you not watch Jamie's last fight lol ? I do believe from where I was in the corner his opponent spat at Jamie, bit Jamie twice and head butted Jamie and hit him in the Never Never regions lol, hit jamie on the break and after ref said stop boxing lol, list was endless, we don't moan mate, Jamie just roughed him back up, it's the hurt business, comes with the territory :TU:

And I'm not here and don't want to get into why his previous management and promotional situations through his career didn't get him the fights he and john asked for and wanted. Bottom line it's not the fighter who arranged, matches the fights, holds the finacial purses and promotes the shows

If I can even money or 5/4 on Cox vs. Fielding then I'm sticking £1000 on it.
Cox win will be about 21/20 I reckon. You'll 5/2 for the KO/TKO
Easy money...
