He's got a nice house in Fulham though, so I reckon he must have been fairly sensible with his money, cause they don't give them away free with sweetie wrappers.
is that Rocky Kelly your talking about? nice story.... so how hard a punch did he have.

Wayne Alexander. He doesn't even throw a full punch with the twist of the body - just sticks his arm out and connects. Frightening power. However, I would contribute that as a prominent factor in his downfall of late. He genuinely believes he can KO anyone, and of course, not everyone falls.

Rocky is one of the good guys. He likes a drink though.

Had a beer with him a few weeks ago , he just likes a drink, but I dont think he has a problem.

knockout wrote:just to add a bit of info, a friend of mine who has sparred both Enzo and Haye said Enzo definately hits harder..... Haye throws faster punches from more unusual angles but for out and out power he says Enzo takes it...
From the proof ive seen with Haye KO'ing people as an amatuer i'd say he hits harder. Enzo has nice timing but for raw power i'd say Haye. Danny Williams says Haye hits like a heavy.

Pre world war 2 - Wilde (by a street).

Post world war 2 - one of two, Colin Jones or Bingo.

If Rocky could have punched he would have gone all the way. He was a wearing down type of puncher, who rarely scored a quick win. He certainly had the eye of the tiger. He jumped on Sylvester Mittee's back after Mittee labelled him "Hamilton" at a press conference (Hamilton is Rocky's real name).
Mighty Warrior once bought some grass off a guy in Notting Hill and Rocky was doing the 'minding'. Trouble was, Kelly was in training for Kirkland Laing at the time. "You haven't seen me, you haven't seen me!" said Rocky, after Mighty Warrior wished him good luck.

Fitzsimmons(if you count him as British) and Jimmy Wilde stand out among the old timers, Naz must be the hardest hitter of recent times, watched his fight with Augie Sanchez again recently that knockout is brutal.
