Seems a complete storm in a teacup and I think its a bit pathetic how so many people within the industry have rounded on him....when he obviously didn't know that Coyle's issue with the Sun apparently has something to do with Hillsborough. And really why would Davies know when Coyle is from Hull and when Hillsborough happened before Davies was even born??
Scousers in general just hate O'hara Davies and it seems a lot of people have latched onto this as a stick to beat him with.....but they themselves know he didn't know what he was even on about. Its a very dishonest way to bash a fella whose guilty of a bit of ignorance but no more.
Disappointing lack of loyalty from Matchroom TBH. An explanation was all that was needed just to clarify that Davies didn't know what Coyle's issue with the Sun was all about.

The only thing scousers love more than their nan and that's a good whinge. Whinge whinge whinge, are they brought up to think they're hard done by? Always looking for someone to blame.

Tommy wants Curtis. He couldn't care less about OD. He's doing remarkable things for his boys as well. You'd be surprised how nice a guy Coyle is.
I follow him on Twitter and he comes across as a top bloke. Always looking out for others

I can't believe what a knee jerk reaction this is from Eddie.
But then like any murder mystery, with Hearn you have to follow the money.
Maybe making OD the scurge of the scousers makes big ticket sales when OD does go to Puddly and fights a local?
Over the years I just equate everything Eddie does with £££

Yes, but Tommy isn't from Liverpool. This will be class if he convinces us all he is.

Pretty much on the money this post. If Coyle was a scouser then fair enough but I didn't know he was a football or Liverpool fan. If OD knew he was a Liverpool fan then maybe it could be construed as an insult but unless anyone can prove that then OD's reasons are plausible enough in my opinion. EH playing safe and he can still get him out when its all blown over.

Fair play to Eddie on this one - he’s actually made me feel sorry for O’Hara by overreacting massively pulling him from the card. Never ever thought I’d feel sympathy for that complete prick

I’m certainly of the belief that Ohara is stupid enough not to know about it.

It was before he was born.

I don't think this is solely because of the recent tweets regarding the sun, which were totally uncalled for. His tweet towards Paddy Barnes about his wife was disgusting.
Eddie probably gave him a final chance regarding going too far with his carry on on twitter. He didn't listen and got taken off the card.

He had a bit of an issue with Robbie Davies jnr that was pretty unsavoury too. Clearly doesn't engage his brain before he picks up his phone.

No, I don't mind the kid. He's just trying to create a persona a la Mayweather. Eddie's told him he needs an edge & this is his way of doing it. I just don't think he's that smart or worldly yet so is making a few mistakes along the way.
