Of course. He fought all his fights until a few ago at that weight and lost to BJS. Unless he can’t make 160, I don’t understand why he’s moved up. Eubank Snr moves to 168 at 25, but his power seemed to carry. He lost a lot after the Watson tragedy. CEJ said at the post fight press conference he has options at 160.

I can only assume he looked at 160 with GGG, Canelo, Jacobs and BJS and thought, fcuk this, 168 is weaker in depth and has a better chance to win a legitimate belt, not the unheralded IBO.

He needs to move down as his lack a jab, footwork and ability to get inside will make 168 more or less impossible. If you couple that with his power not carrying the extra weight on fight night, he can’t compete.

I think exposed is a little unkind. I do think he’s overrated as the sound bites had many people fooled. I just think he doesn’t have the attributes mainly physical to compete when his opponents come into the ring a lot bigger.

At 160 he is very strong and probably stronger than most of his opponents, but even then he isnt good enough to beat the top guys. I'd say hes around the level of a lemiueux, though technically lemiueux is better.

I agree with all this, apart from him being worse than Lemieux. Lemieux has tremendous power but cmon, although Eubank was over hyped, he’s surely better technically than Lemiuex. Although I never judge fights against different opponents, the BJS fights against both must be paramount in terms of technique. BJS was motivated for both fights.
