It’s a formality.

Yeah. The BBBOC basically came back in December saying the standard forms had been sent out but for some reason nothing came back.

It almost makes Tyson look like a two bit chancing drug cheat.

According to the bbboc ruling January 19th of this year he is free to continue his career pending a medical examination.
If that medical examination has been son it's anyone's guess. I can't find anything else pertaining to it

How about a forum rule where no new threads about Tyson Fury are allowed until he actually has a fvcking boxing license

Or at least move them to boxing history.
He's not an active fighter to me until he gets in the ring again

The amount of Fury threads over the past few months (along with all the polls) have ruined this forum.

If he actually announces a fight then that's worth talking about. Not that I think that matters anyway. He still has to turn up on that date which is 50/50. But an official fight announcement from a promoter is progress.
You contributed massively to most of them! You were like a dog with a bone over the disgraceful UKAD case!
That was months ago. The line was drawn over that before Christmas.

Yet he has still made no progress towards a comeback.

Regarding comments about his license. He may have one just nobody has said so.

A couple of months ago the bbbofc and Warren said he needed to submit medical care records, which is standard. Since then there has been nothing.

Fw is extremely smug, as is the lineal champ. I’m pretty sure it’s imminent.

Lineal champ? He hasn't fought for 30 months.

They’ve been smug for about a month and still no announcement despite several suggestions by Fury that there will be.

He hasn’t lost in that 30 months, either.

lol at this lineal champ nonsense. since fury last fought and gone through retirement announcments etc, joshua has beaten like 5 top 10 opponents and unified 3 major belts, and kod the guy who fury won them off from.

ratings arent frozen in time, josh is the #1 now and has a better record then fury ever did. why would anyone want to let guys win a title and just sit around not fight for years, become obese, yet still keep the title while other fighters are out there fighting and doing good stuff? thats just awful for boxing.

record since the wlad fight almost 3 years ago

fury:
joshua: wlad, parker, takam, whyte, breazeale, molina, martin

theres a kingpin at hw and it aint fury (and no, i dont mean kevin johnson lol)

First we'll need an undisputed champion. IT would also be nice to have one sanctioning body, but let's be realistic, those pigs aren't doing anywhere! I agree. It's like winning 300 games in baseball (pitcher), the game changed so much that it is absolutely impossible.

I still think Fury will fight again, despite what the naysayers here opine.

He's probably just waiting for Briggs to get old.

Briggs is on social security. How much older does he need to be

You don't remain a champion because you won a few years ago.

Old? :o

What, like 93 or something?

If that really is the extent of Fury's comeback ambitions, he needs to jack it in now.

Yes, could do with a Martin to just come in stoned and fall over then he might get the acclaim he deserves.

Swear to often and it loses its meaning ,,,, There was a boy who cried wolf ,,,,, and there's Tyson , a EX champ , with no proper trainer , no future fights lined up , talking about beating a record thats been there for years , when he did'nt even defend once ,,, sort of makes you lose interest real quick
