Re: GGG: " I know who I am and I know who Canelo is, and what he has become"

In my humble opinion, Team GGG are constantly complaining for one of two potential reasons:

• They’re trying to promote the fight by manufacturing “controversy” over seemingly trivial issues
• Or they’re highly-respectful of Canelo’s ability and are seeking to gain every possible advantage they can

Team GGG probably understand that their show business type “complaining” antics aren’t going to adversely affect Canelo’s mind-set, as the Mexican is experienced enough to remain calm whenever his opponents’ try their upmost to p¡ss him off, and nor will they have any impact on the outcome of the bout.

I suspect that Golovkin and his team are simply trying to gain the media’s attention as often as they can to publicise the bout, with their ultimate objective to generate more PPV buys.

I hope that fight fans, casual mainstream ones and the hardcore fraternity, don’t read too much into all this so-called “controversy”, because it’s borderline WWE style amateur dramatics!

Simply put: this is a contest between two highly-experienced veterans that have been professional for a combined total of more than 25 years, competed in 91 pro bouts and engaged in 32 world championship fights (excl. lineal and RING title defences). None of this fȕck¡ng bȕllsh¡t matters one iota! :shame:

Golovkin has legit grievances.

Firstly, he clearly won the first fight.

Secondly, the rematch got cancelled because Canelo got caught doping.

He should give Canelo all the verbal abuse he deserves. Saul is coming to run but i think Gennady stops him this time.

SenorPipino wrote: 06 Sep 2018, 15:29 I liked Golovkin (a little) better when he seldom opened his mouth and whined and complained about everything under the sun.

Golovkin cries about Mexican meat, he cries about infinitesimal amounts of clenbuterol, he cries about gloves, he cries about hand wraps, he cries about judges, he cries about De La Hoya, he cries about money.

It never ends.

Can you imagine a real middleweight champion like Hagler whining about everything? He just focused on fighting. He didn't care about anything else and constantly point fingers. Hagler just took care of business.

I have a strong hunch that late on the night of Sept. 15, Golovkin is going to really have something to cry about.
Your “real” middleweight champion Hagler quit the sport and ran to Italy for years when he couldn’t beat Ray. So I guess you prefer quitters over a guy that has defied tremendous odds to become one of the greatest MW Champion in Boxing history. What a ridiculous opinion you shared. GGG deserves respect from REAL Boxing fans. Not the ones that have an agenda and spew junk like you’ve managed to do in the above garbage statement.

Every single Boxing “expert” had GGG winning the first fight. It is widely known that the decision was a clear case of robbery. So why is it surprising that the fighter that got robbed has a strong opinion about it? What would you do? Just shrug it off? You know that you wouldn’t and nor should you. By calling attention to it possibly happening again, it makes it a lot harder on these judges to get away with it again.

So you goons complaining about this are all clearly Canelo fans already making excuses.

Waste of time trying to get anything sensible out of pipino and enlightened when it comes to Alvarez. They're too biased to be objective

To say hagler quit and "ran" to italy, cause he couldn't beat leonard, is a braindead comment.

Look at the fight to see, who ran from whom and who came to fight and IN REALITY won the fight. And i know the difference between intelligent moving, decisive counterpunching on the backfoot and getting on your bycicle & trying to survive with a few halfassed flurries!

no matter who was PRESENTED the decision plus the belts they stole from a real champ who defended them the hard way for years.

SAME thing will happen to GGG, if he doesn't knock canelo out, it's already arranged. It's all about the money in tis shit business, sadly.

OMFG I always liked Estrada but now, oh man, that's mancrush territory now
Well that borders on sick. Mancrush over Gallito.

Of course Estrada wouldn't be talking unsubstantiated garbage if he was linked to GBP, would he?

But he might be talking unsubstantiated garbage if he's linked to 360, right?

360. Tom Loeffler. Golovkin.

It doesn't take Columbo to figure out how the pieces all fall into place.

Mancrush over Estrada. What next?????
Estrada is promoted by Zanfer Promotions. He doesn't need to attack Canelo to get some benefits. Is Ward associated with Loefler too? He started laughing when Mexican meat was mentioned. Everybody knows that the meat excuse on this level is bullsh!t.
I don't know that it's BS. Nevada commission ruled that it wasn't BS after hearing evidence.

Millions of Mexicans have clenbuterol in their system from eating tainted meat. To argue differently is a slap in the face of the Mexican people.

But if you had some evidence that Canelo's meat story was BS, you should have gone to the hearing and presented it.

Otherwise the Mexican meat story is valid.

The meat is just a planned excuse just in case. :OhYes:

What people forget is that it passed 1 year since the 1st fight which could be critical for an old fighter like GGG.

Mexican meat has been a built in excuse, to be taken advantage of, for awhile now. And let's conveniently ignore the fact clen is a masking agent.. now we have other fighters coming out saying they have eaten Mexican beef everyday never once tested positive.. yet Canelo the confirmed cheat failed multiple tests days apart.. so did he eat the whole cow, or are these relentless fanboys saying anything possible to support their agenda? The lie lasted an extra year that's all. Dopey lost the first time, everybody knows it. Now he's probably gonna take a terrible beating. No fighter or fan base deserves a public flogging more. Well, maybe McNuggets, but it's close.
