. History is littered with decent world class guys who managed to catch a great champ at the right time but when their career is over, that was all they did and it was obvious it was a case of just catching the right guy on the right night.
Has history forgotten that the guy who got schooled went life and death with Joshua when he was 2 years older?
Landing 86 punches from 371 thrown isn't a schooling.

That's landing 7 punches a round.
Shite, I meant to pick up on that part of what he said but forgot
116-111, 115-112, 115-112 is a pretty comprehensive victory away in Deutschland.
Wlad didn't do sh*t. Tyson barely did anything. Barely doing anything was enough to beat a guy who was just standing there looking at him for 12 rounds like a f*cking moron that doesn't get the concept of you gotta throw punches to win a goddamn fight.
It was one of the worst fights in the History of Heavyweight Boxing, and I have nothing but disdain for the efforts of both men that night.

Calzaghe schooled Lacy. That is how you take a fighter to school
If Fury schooled Wlad, then Okolie schooled Askin last night.
It’s enough to simply win. Fury won, deservedly and it was a great result. No need to try and bullshit by claiming it was more emphatic than it actually was. What next, England took Colombia to school in the World Cup?

Exactly! That's my biggest problem with that fight. People act as if Fury really did something special. I never deny that he won, and deserved the decision, but to act as if he did something special there is just a joke. Stinking the joint out, and being one half of one of the worst fights in the history of the sport basically just means you're less of a loser than the other guy. Nobody was really a winner. Not even the fans.
I kind of agree but I’ll never agree to Fury not doing anything special. What he did was very special.
It’s all about the result in that fight, he travelled, didn’t allow the Klits to play their games and deservedly got the win which made him heavyweight champion of the world. Brilliant stuff despite the fight being a difficult watch.
People are always trying to take that win away from Fury. He went away from home into Klitschko's territory, completely unnerved him and won fair and square. Something nobody had been able to do against Klitschko for years. Yes it wasn't a full blown war, it was a tactical fight. Klitschko was limited and the Fury camp knew Fury could move and upset his rhythm and set movements. That's being smart.
As for now, who knows. We'll find out against Wilder. I think he has the ability to win the belts again but I'm not sure whether he can be as physically fit again as he was against Klitschko. If he isn't then both Wilder and Joshua might catch up with him if he fades.

From what I can tell very few people tell it like it is on that fight. I'm one of the few. Most people act like he was the 2nd coming of Willie Pep for some bizarre reason that night.

I think my take is pretty realistic gil.
I don't consider that he schooled him like others say and it was a poor fight as a spectacle for certain. It was a tactical win and to get a wide points win against Klitschko in Germany is no mean feat.
Klitschko needed to get his rhythm going and his distance right before he felt comfortable letting his shots go. He normally waited until his opponents were tired too. Fury never let him feel comfortable and exposed his limitations.
Klitschko was more gung ho against Joshua as he knew it was last chance saloon especially after he was dropped earlier in the fight.
For me Fury really did something special in Klitschko bout. I remember, I was watching it live on a shitty stream. I was really shocked then. Nobody had ever seen Klitschko being outboxed before. And eventually after. That fight was far from being eventful, but it still was fun to watch for me, just because I was looking at the guy, who was doing an impossible thing - winning Wlad round after round.
Yeah the strange thing about the Klitschko v Joshua fight was that Wlad was the mover in that fight which he'd rarely, if ever, been previously in his career.
He did well that night and doesn't maybe get the props he deserved but it's been turned Into the greatest achievement in boxing history by his fanboys. The lineal thing is just clutching. He might get a belt back but he's just as likely to get ironed out.

Interesting turn of phrase when you have proven yourself to be an AJ "fanboy" this week.

Am I? I'm not a fanboy of anyone other than Liverpool.

Why has it upset you so much? You seem to hate Fury because of this fight it should be Klitschko you hate if anybody for not doing anything in the fight
What Fury done in Germany was a massive achievement, like the way he boxed that night or not he won that fight clearly with virtually know one giving him a chance (me included). Kitschko didn't know what to do. People are talking about Whyte now being a contender he arguably lost to Chisora and Fury played with him. Since his comeback he's looked off the pace we will see what he's got when he faces Wilder, and my money will be on Fury standing him on his head. Fury will get his belts back if he gets the chance against Joshua. That's if Joshua hasn't lost them by then
