If Phil Edwards had given him the 7th as he should have he gets the decision. He can definitely win a rematch, likewise so can Wilder.
All the Furys a genius boxer stuff is so overplayed its funny, he's good but it's getting to the point where he's rivalling both Sugar Rays on skill if you listen to his cheerleaders.

Fury proved that Wilder is just a C level boxer with tremendous hitting power and nothing more. Fury clearly beat Wilder 8-4 at the least, though I think Mike Tyson's 10-2 is closer to the truth.

Wilder, if he wasn't missing and catching nothing but air--- was eating jabs and 1-2's or just staring back at Fury when Tyson would put his hands behind his back or stick his tongue out.

For the critics on this site to argue Fury wasn't winning wide--- I have to question the mental state. A round is won regardless whether it's wide or close. Fury was more effective, and had the higher work rate.

There's no sense in a rematch because THIS WAS WILDER'S BEST CHANCE OF WINNING considering everything Fury went through. The next time would only mean Fury's in better shape, knows what to avoid, etc. Fury's always proved in return bouts to be exceptionally better than the first go around.

The fact that Wilder is talking to Hearn about Joshua in the spring, rather than Fury, etc... Goes to show me the man knows he'd lose to Fury and figures Joshua's easier to hit, and Joshua figures Wilder is easier so here's Fury frozen out because they're both essentially pussies who have no answer against slick boxers.

And I'll take it a step further... When Fury said, "I won this fight everybody knows it but this man is 2nd best to me," and Wilder fist bumped Fury and DID NOT ARGUE OR PROTEST... should be all anyone needs to know about the fight.

Wilder protesting or boasting after the fact now that Fury is across the ocean, is just him in complete denial and damage control. He sure as hell didn't with the man in front of him.

The chance to get all the belts is rare and too good to ignore for both men. Fury isn't going away, what's the issue if they fight ?
People should stop cheerleading and look at how big the fights will be. If Wilder beats Joshua so easily as loads claim then Fury has got an easy route to 4 belts, same as with Joshua if he gets the win.
Fury v Joshua for all 4 straps at Wembley is the ideal scenario.

I base this on watching the fight , , and thinking your doing good , BUT your not doing GREAT , and great is what you have to do if you want to rip the champion of his belt in his backyard .

Ok Tyson boxed well , but he never really pushed it , he looked like he was concentrating more on not being hit , than trying to land , he done a good job , but it was Wilder pressing the fight , Tyson was'nt well at least not for most of it , there were TOO MANY real close rnds , for Tyson to win in Wilders back yard , . remember you have to win a championship belt , stealing it is a risky way of doing it , and just nulifying Wilder was never going to be enough , he was always going to have to take it off him , and he did'nt .

So essentially what you are saying is "Boxing has always been corrupt, people should just accept that fact expect the champ to win if hes not KO'd or totally dominated".

That's pretty shitty attitude to have... Nobody should accept the corruption in boxing. It is the biggest thing holding the sport down.

Nobody want's to see another saga like Ward vs Kovalev. When people expect things to work that way it is no wonder that casuals are not interested in boxing anymore.

Look how things are in MMA. Fighters get losses. It is not end of the world. Honest loss is not that bad. Fans are still tuning in for the next fight.

Nonsense. The fights are scored round by round. Why do you think the belt is given back to the ABC's rep on the night? The holder doesn't flounce into the ring wearing it while shouting "You have to rip this way from me". The "Taking the title from the champion" is the biggest pile of steaming BS in the sport.

Put it another way Tyson is getting allocades for his courage when he got up , his not getting hit , and fair enough he deserved them , but the facts are he did'nt dominate with EFFECTIVE PUNCHES , sure he made Wilder miss an awful lot , but he also run an awful lot , , yep he done well ,, But he was running a lot did'nt want to get hit , he got knocked down and was 4 points down straight away , so that leaves the other rnds , there were just too many where he may have won but even though he did'nt get hit he did'nt land EFFECTIVE PUNCHES ,,

i SUGGEST A LOT OF YOU ACTUALLY GO OUT AND LEARN WHAT IS CLASSED HAS AN EFFECTIVE PUNCH , american and especielly Mexican judges tend to favor agression i know this , they should know it , and plan for it was it a close fight yep , did Fury win , Yep he won rnd's easy , EXCEPT he got knocked down twice lost by 10-8 , and had a few rnds where he just did'nt land many EFFECTIVE PUNCHES , and i'm sorry to say a jab leaning back , against a aggressive fighter is NOT an EFFECTIVE PUNCH .THATS WHERE HE LOST IT .

cOULD IT OF GONE HIS WAY FOR SURE , but he got knocked down and lost 10-8 twice , that nulified a lot of the good work he done , if he lost would it of been a robbery , in the eyes ofhis fans yep , if he won would he off been lucky , probably , for me a draw was a fair result . .

It was simple the champ wanted to fight , but the challenger wanted to run , slip , duck and dive , and not get hit the challenger landed a lot of INNEFECTIVE NON SCORING PUNCHES , THE cHAMPION LANDED LESS BUT MORE EFFECTIVE SCORING PUNCHES ,in a few rnd's don't care what you all say , i thoiught a draw was fair ,,

You do score rnd by rnd , BUT you have to land EFFECTIVE PUNCHES TO WIN THE RND.

So let me enlighten a few of you again an effective scoring punch is , a blow landed with the knuclke part of the glove on the scoring part of the head and torso , WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE SHOULDER BEHIND IT .

So i had tyson winning round 9 and 12 up until the knockdown and he finished the stronger after the knockdowns so to me they should of been either 10-9 or 9-9 rounds. Tyson gave deontay a boxing lesson made him miss all night long apart from the knockdown shots, whatever wilder hit tyson with tyson matched him, that fight shoukd of been 120-108 fight but with the knockdowns 116-112. Also AJ vs wilder will end by a k.o for wilder imho

Well , on the day , the fight finished , i went to the bog and a mate asked me who do you think , i said Tyson boxed better but the last rnd just cost him , I said he might get a draw , but he might get robbed , I came back and they had annouced a draw .

But tell you what i'm gonna watch it again , and if i think you guys are right , i'll be quick to put my hands up , and say i was wrong , but looking back i did think a draw would be fair

The Mexican judge gave Fury 5 rounds, not “a few.”

Nobody is going to score those rounds 10-9 or 9-9. If you think that should have happened, you don't understand the sport. I'm not being condescending here. I'm just explaining how it works. Those are 10-8 rounds to Wilder on everyones scorecard. That's how boxing works. Fury would have had to do much much more to pull the point back and get a 10-9 round. He would have had to hurt or drop Wilder which he didn't do.

The Gypsy King was outboxing Wilder, he was landing more, what means he was scoring more. There were close rounds, but that's not the reason to give them to the champ, edven if he was pushing the pace, cause he wasn't doing the main thing, which is scoring more. You should take the belt from the champion and Fury did that by being noticeably more effective. That's why The Gypsy King won that fight and other viewpoints look unfair.

Just so you know, there are no 9-9 rounds unless there is a point taken away. 10 point MUST system.

A belt holder shouldn't receive any gifts just because he has the belt, unless you want a Klitschko era belts being held hostage scenario.

Do Man City get a couple of goals leeway in each premier league game this season because they're the defending champions?

Utter bobbins.
They get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the officials though, especially against smaller teams. Same with Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham

Champs in boxing tend to get the benefit of the doubt too

the champ getting the benefit of the doubt is only true in the sense that if the fighters draw, the champ keeps the belt and the challenger leaves without a belt even though they were officially even. in that sense, a draw is a succesful title defense for the champ (who keeps there belt), but unsucsefful for the challenger (who failed to win the belt)

but ridiculous that anyone would advocate for any type of head start or bonus point for the champ in terms of judging each round. like 'well so and so did a tad more then the champ but since the champ is the champ they get the round''

you just need to do more then the champ to deserve it, wether by 1 point or 15

Then add in 2 knock downs , and i think Tyson was actually lucky to get a draw , was it a good performance , yes it was , , considering the lay off and the weight issue , ect ect ect ,, i would go has far as to call it a great performance ,

But was it a winning performance , i don't think so ,,, great performance , but you don't win championship bouts in the other guys yard by stealing you have to win clearly

Will there be a rematch i doubt it ,, I don't believe Tyson will want it again on USA soil , and i doubt very much if Wilder will come to the UK , , I still see AJ beating Tyson , i think in a rematch Wilder beats Tyson , Aj is a better boxer than Wilder and will connect a lot more often and do the same damage .

AJ -- Wilder ,,, toss a coin whoever lands first
well it aint another veiw ,that is pretty much what the judges see it as, i would say tyson came back to make the rounds he got dropped in,to 10 9 rounds a should won , the only reason i can possibly see the draw is its old school and he got dropped twice
