I know it seems silly for Wlad to come back. I'm reading more that (and who knows if it's true) that Eddie Hearn is trying to find a name to fulfill his April 13 Wembley card. So Wlad vs Whyte was 'whispered' about. I really don't care if Wlad comes back or not. I don't see him beating any of the top three at this point in his life, so why bother.

The Wlad that rattled Pulev would completely annihilate Whyte and the version that fought AJ would beat him without too much trouble as well.... I like Whyte, he's as game as fukk and good value but he's vastly overrated because of the Sky PPV crap.... A watered down version of Wlad should still beat him...

I like Whyte mate but Wlad would've almost certainly kept himself in top shape even when not active. Wlad still has the tools to beat a guy like Whyte convincingly IMO. Don't get me wrong though, I'd be rooting for Dillian....

I hear ya, but staying in shape and being in the ring are two totally different things. I could be wrong (not the first, not the last), but Dillian is too good to lose to an old fighter out of the ring for so long. I hope Whyte gets his shot at AJ. He earned that one, no doubt. This Wlad story is Hearn's, IMHO. Let him stay retired.

Wlad is all wrong for Whyte even at this stage. Those long right hands down the middle of whytes defence. Whyte is clumsy and despite wlad being past it he is more refined and expect him to KO Whyte in about 6 rounds in fact I will bet on it if this fight happens

Maybe you're right, but he comes to fight and at least he's fought some decent opposition. I can't fault him when he's doing more than most other top 10 HW's.

Sorry mate but it definitely wouldn't be in the top 5. Whyte is average and is only getting recognition because of the lack of depth in the division.

i dont think whyte as a win on his resume would do much to change his historical standing, whyte may be top 5 on it but wlad beat a lot of guys around whytes level imo

ATG for the "dog" in him - a real, aggressive 'win at all costs' type.

Overall - World Class gatekeeper. Gives anyone a competitive fight, but the best beat him with a beat to spare. .

I think he's liked for his attitude, more than over-rated. From press conference to final bell - he's easy to root for and good to watch.

It'd be interesting. Though Wlad clearly isn't what he used to be this would still be a 50/50 fight in my mind if Wlad is still capable of being the same guy we saw in the AJ fight.
