yes indeed - it is interesting how quickly Hearn swerved the therapeutic testosterone usage claim by Miller by saying AJ is tested so many times randomly

These two bin comical reading on twitter of late   :TU: would like fitzy to win but can't see it,fowlers the favourite but I would like Fitzgerald to win,I've no affinity to either man,but I take to fitz more than fowler

The twitter beefs been brilliant though

Cant remember 2 opponents going off in Twitter like these 2, it's been relentless, both getting personal especially Fitzgerald, he mentioned something about Fowler's bird getting shagged behind his back, loads of stuff, pretty good value from the sidelines , it's got my attention, looking forward to it more than any other fight on the card

Fowler's looked good so far, gets a lot of unfair stick IMO, think he'll stop Fitzgerald who hasn't really impressed all that much since turning over

Fowler doesn't seem to well received...just an old school dust up this isn't it,has that straightener feel to it doesn't it,and the to'ing & fro'ing on twitter is making people laugh, but also making people see the needle between the two & genuinely getting them interested....don't particularly rate either man tbh but I'm genuinely more excited about this than a lot of "world" boxing of late & im not afraid to say it

I think Fowler wins this pretty handy.

Spencer Fearon said it right for me on Twitter the other day; Fowler has a Froch-like surety and arrogance about himself. He is also utterly dedicated. His nickname ‘the machine’ is very fitting.

I read some comments from Fitzgerald about them both as juniors and it seems like Fitzgerald and his dad were pertrifed of Fowler. The fact that Fitzgerald told the story suggests it’s lefts it’s mark - though I hope I’m wrong. I really hope Fitzgerald doesn’t fold once the heat goes up and gives Fowler a proper good go and has genuine self-belief, although his come from behind win at the end of last year on Sky wasn’t so impressive.

Looking forward to this. You simply can’t beat a domestic bust-up between two undefeated, up and coming fighters!

Does anyone know why Spencer Fearon has stopped doing the toe to toe podcast? Has he left sky? He can be OTT but not enjoyed it the same since

This fight proves you don't need all the glitz & the glam to sell a fight, all the big networks & all that s**t,I love boxing & two top world level fighters facing each other is like nothing else....but rarely do they happen at the right time...these are nowhere near world level at all but at least it's happening at the right time

This fight proves two game lads & a bit of needle putting their 0s up on the line created that age old interest of wanting to see two men simply fight

Even if we mostly agree fowler is gonna pogger Fitzgerald, the dislike between the two is getting people up for it

My favourite novel. No other defines the 20th century quite as brilliantly.

Too many folks passing by Fowler without taking notice of his size and power, as well as non-recognition of his decent amateur accomplishments. Fitzgerald is obviously overmatched but it leaves me intrigued as to how far Fowler can go and his next matchup.

Fitzgerald is a very good fighter mate, think he will surprise some people (think Fowler beats him it might even go point worth sticking a few dollars/pounds on it) !

Nope. Not that I'm aware of, but I suspect I can catch it soon after the fight on YouTube. Just means I can't watch the boards to ruin the ending. :D

Can't take to Fowler me but unfortunately can only see him winning this fight. Fitzgerald is a good fighter and I don't rate Fowler as highly as some boys do but I still think he's above Fitzgerald, roll on Saturday be a good punch up this.
