Yeah there's no loyality to any one entity on my part either. I don't have any ideas of their business model, but it's clear to see they mean business.

We all want the best fights, but right now we have so many overlapping factors and 3rd parties that get in the way of that, it's all too easy for the best to avoid the best.

We have these "governing bodies" all with their own rankings, who don't recognise other ABC champions....no one really knows who's the best in any given division since there can be up to 4 recognised world champions.

There's TV networks connected to specific promotional companies and fighters with contracts for those fighters to appear on their stations.

Promoters are tied to TV networks, love to protect their cash cows and their perfect 0 loss records, and ultimately only interested in their cut and how muh they can make monetary wise.

It's really a clusterfuck, and there's no end in sight.

People have often said we need a recognised global overseeing body. But we seem to have 4 recognised "reputable" bodies and they doesn't work, and not 1 of them has risen above the rest as the standout one that people should give a shit about and not the rest.

I hear that UFC puts the best against the best. I'm not a follower of UFC so I am not sure how true that statement is.

But if it was true, then we need to find that kind of model, whether its a franchise or what.

Just that 1 entity, be it an ABC body to overtake the others/make them insignificant, 1 promoter to overtake the rest and have all fighters on their books, or one TV station to overtake and outdi all the rest and sign up every single promoter and fighter.

Dazn is showing its muscle right now, but there's probably not enough money that can make any of that happen...

So DAZN only signed GGG because they wanted to make the Canelo trilogy..

Now what.. To make their moneys worth, they gonna have to have GGG fight competitive fights..
