Realistically only Fury, AJ and Wilder would beat him and he would have a good chance against Wilder.
Pulev is as good an opponent as Fury could find considering the big two and Povetkin aren’t available. Usyk too of course but time will tell

I’m well pleased if it’s Pulev
It's Jennings. Not Pulev.

First they talked up Rivas. Then they talked up Pulev. Now it's Jennings. I know one thing. Pulev is already set to fight Dinu end of this week. Nothing is concrete, but the chatter has changed.

If true, that’s awful and Fury should be embarrassed.

Can he cash out against Fury?
I thought the same thing, and frankly still do. I don't see this as advantageous to Pulev.
If Fury is getting tens of millions for the fight deals at ESPN, I can only imagine that Pulev would be getting 10%-20% of that. Let's say Fury makes $10 million per fight, that's $1-2 million for Pulev. He'd get a pretty good payday and not get too beat up in the process--- unlike a Wilder or Joshua fight where he'd get knocked out badly. Besides in the minds of many Fury is THE heavyweight champion--- so this would be a more meaningful fight for Pulev than the others would be.
I don't think too many folks look at Fury as lineal champ, or really care. AJ and Wilder are the belt holders and that's that.
Without question, none of them know who pulev is.

Im not buying the Schwartz claim.

My source is the assistant to Brad Goodman. Of course I understand "things happen" and gets changed, but I still think it'll be Pulev.

Sorry dude, Rafael is not an historian but his sources are the best. I have sources too but didn't care enough to check. No harm, no foul, but why would they leak Swartz like this? To make pulev look better? Nobody knows either and Tom is at least unbeaten. Not to mention pulev is a mandatory to the cash cow, no reason for arum to risk that here.

No way it’s Pulev.

Fury refused a 40-60 offer,to what? Chase the IBF mandatory spot for a 20% guarantee.

And then what for Pulev? His whole move to America was based around his position as mandatory to Joshua.Top Rank are going to take him out of the equation in one fight and take a stable loss when they don’t need to.

Then of course Pulev is fighting this weekend. He isn’t fighting on June 15th too. This was never a goer,it’s makes zero sense.

Pulev has moved up the rankings, becoming the IBF mandatory challenger to face Joshua. He is currently ranked No. 10 by The Ring.

Now living and residing in Las Vegas, Pulev believes he is a much-improved fighter than when he fought Klitschko.

“I was younger and was going through a lot of pressure leading up to the Klitschko fight,” Pulev told The Ring on Thursday. “Klitschko was much more experienced and it showed that night. I’m a much better fighter. I’m stronger and I have become a more well-rounded fighter. I believe I’m mentally and physically better. I can do everything."

Pulev is also ranked No. 9 by the WBC and has recent victories over Dereck Chisora and Samuel Peter. Though he wants fights with all of the top fighters in his division, a deal with Fury could be easiest to make as both fighters now fight under the Top Rank/ESPN banner.

A fight against Joshua may be difficult to put together as Joshua fights on DAZN, unless the IBF mandates for that fight to be made through a purse bid.

“The heavyweight division is open. I can beat them all. I know there is difficulty with making fights because of the money and TV (networks) involved. I don’t have a problem with fighting any of the top fighters. I can win by outboxing them or knocking them out.”
Keep watching this boys, I'm telling you it's gonna be Pulev.

Fight is confirmed by Bob Arum
Schwartz is the sacrificial lamb.

Interesting point in his interview. Arum said Wilder will fight twice more this year on ESPN before rematch with Fury in February 2020.
I don't know how he's going to get Wilder when DAZN couldnt

I'll believe it when I see it, but I can't doubt Arum too much of the time. He doesn't need Wilder to sign with ESPN to have him fight there.

Wilder is a free-agent and just has to be shown the money to fight on ESPN. (or DAZN; or FOX: or Showtime) He hasn't signed a deal with anyone yet. Maybe it will work out for him.

he got showed tons of money and just turned it down, though maybe he likes his chances better vs fury. despite being a free agent hes really only fought on pbc networks...im not sure of how free hes really been in reality

arum was saying before that fury-wilder 2 would this year. already moved it back. i know how much u guys luv eddeh, bob and shelly and etc are in the same business. rematch has a great chance of never happening

Rematch has a better chance of not happening ,I agree. All promoters are liars, no doubt, but they also have egos and want to one up each other. It's a waiting game I'm not happy playing.

We'll see how much money he gets from fox/CBS. If he has them bidding against each other the sky's the limit. CBS paid Floyd 40 million to fight berto!
