Khan only got clipped once by a man levels below him in Prescott. He discovered his weakness there, and has never been beaten by a man below his level since. Khan has a glass jaw yes, but only elite fighters can find the openings to crack it. Khan will destroy this kid.


I still find it amazing that Khan has not fought Floyd or Manny over his career when everyone else got a shot. He’s always wanted both fights, but they’ve avoided him weirdly as that sounds. Why? Speed kills. If Khan avoids being clipped, he outboxes you, with the Peterson fight his only decision loss, but you can argue the points deductions there.

Khan turned down Pacman and fought Paulie Malignaggi instead. He wasn't in any rush to fight that version of Manny.

It was close to been done around 2017 I remember. Middle East money etc. But money wasn’t there.

The opponent for "The Hunter" is still on the works, but Dave's participation in the Saudi boxing event is 100% confirmed, according to Dave's promoter and uncle, two division world champion Gerry Penalosa.
