Wbss purses are significant and I can see delboy's argument although without actual purse figures I suppose we're guessing. Delboy is being used here to draw back existing sky box office punters who've paid out for box office events in the past. Delboy is part of that and usually gives the paying punters a good show, win or lose. I can understand how and why he wants a better deal. It's not like Joshua or even whyte is headlining. The wbss final is a great match but as Eddie is so fond of saying it's one for the hardcore purists and sky box office shows aren't based on that they're based on a wider appeal.
Do you think people are gonna watch Parker-Chisora and then go home? They’re not gonna stay for Prog-Taylor?

He’s not solely selling the arena out by himself. He’s not AJ, he needs a good dance partner.

Hearn could have said ‘ok I’ll get David Price on the phone’ and Chisora would quickly have shut the fu ck up. Matchroom is his only chance of PPV money whether that be main event or chief support. FW slates Chisora every time his names mentioned now days so where else does he go?

Del Boy is likeable but he’s never been close to being a genuine box office fighter. Strictly undercard for this one. Levels

European level fighters should never be PPV

No I don't. Obviously everyone will stay for the main event. I was making the point that he is usually value for money on ppv shows and he'll definitely be a big factor in helping to sell the show. He has got a really good dance partner this time too, in fact I don't rink he'll beat Parker. What he said was, pay me right or drop me from the show. That sounds fair enough to me.

Eddie's created the monster again here, same as with Whyte, having them headline PPVs when they should be standard Saturday night cards, no wonder Chisora thinks he's entitled

I love Chisora. He’s unpredictable and win or lose has given me some great nights of boxing. When he told Kalle “fornicate off” properly seriously... he’s worth every penny to those three suits he was at that table with. He’s saved more than one of Hearn’s cards.

I’d love to meet him just to say hello.

No he doesn't have a point. Its a unification between two of the top rising fighters in the game that are already at their peak. The wbss certainly wouldn't take kindly to it saying second fiddle to a fringe heavy battle.

Chisora was petrified of Fury in their pressers and behaved like he was intimidated. Other than that he has been vocal at pressers. Regarding his points, he has a point but Parker has put on stinkers with his tactics and Chisora is just fringe level so it's clearly not a standalone box office fight. Prograis and Taylor isn't either, although its one of the best fights in boxing right now, definitely in my top 3. Hearn and Smith deserved to be called out for their money grubbing tactics. I don't buy Box Office PPVs anyway because they are littered with ads, poor quality main events and you have to listen to Adam Smiths growling drivel. I doubt most on here buy them either. We don't really need to do we

He never said a word to Fury.
I remember an IFL video where he’s telling Eddie he will kick off if he buys him a new watch. It’s typical Matchroom/WWE hype.

It's the fans that are being taken the p1ss out of, every half decent fight PPV. F**k that, none of these are PPV fighters.

Taylor vs Prog is a great fight and deserves to headline. Chisora is a bit of a name, but for losing big fights. He lost all of his biggest fights, and is now near the tail end of his career. His rant was quite amusing, but also disrespectful to Taylor and Prog. Hearn was quite nervous in interviews immediately afterward, i thought. Blabbing about if the fans call for Chisora to headline he will have to consider switching it up. WTF! Sort yer sh*t out Eddie, yoi dont demote a headline act because some nutter on the undercard kicked of at a presser demanding to headline, hold yourself together man.

Chisora just wants more cash, and clearly thinks he is beimg underpaid. I have no idea what he is on for this fight, would be good if someone has any accurate knowledge on his purse.

They have a boatload of heavyweights on the books who would take a fight vs Parker for Chisora’s purse.

It has to sell as well. Del Boy can sell, take this thread as an example.

He's popular, how many ppv buys is 2 or 3 internet pages worth? Isn't there a much larger thread about prograis/ Taylor?
