I think that for a fighter of Edwards' calibre to be getting his mitts on a "proper" (HAHAHAHA) belt like the WBC, "mate" isn't strong enough.

Bullshit statement ! Whatever credibility Edwards had left has been shot to pieces. He was fine in that fight until Martinez decided to get serious and turned up the heat in the 3rd and closed the show.

He's shown no class at all and is running like a thief in the night. Edwards talked big before the fight about what sort of champion he wanted to be so has to be judged by his own bold statements.

Edwards talks utter bollocks. He knew he was getting smashed in any rematch and vacated. The top lads at superfly will batter him senseless as well.
