AJ had to fight again or he would of been known as a fraud, difference between the two fights is one trained for the 2nd fight the other didnt.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑15 Dec 2019, 10:02 And Ruiz, with more ability in one roll of fat than AJ could dream of, was beating up AJ again and ending his career, but AJ still had the balls to fight him again![]()
Move on now,let it bemargaret thatcher wrote: ↑15 Dec 2019, 10:29 Of course Andy trained, the 283 was just weighted sombrero mind games, remember?

Liar.
Yeah it will! I have experience on the matter! You can be relentless, my friend.
But the more he throws the more he opens himself up for Wilder to connect.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑15 Dec 2019, 20:29Can see that going either way. Furys problem is that he just throws so few shots.
That seems to be the plan.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑13 Dec 2019, 15:18 Well, if you think AJ is ducking, he is 4-5 years younger than Wilder, and maybe then he waits him out and fights 'old' Tay?
I know what you mean but because of wilders power and furys concentration span I felt the first fight was tense all the way through.tiny_acres wrote: ↑15 Dec 2019, 21:17But the more he throws the more he opens himself up for Wilder to connect.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑15 Dec 2019, 20:29

It's going to be a boring fight again
I'm looking forward to it also.Ezzard wrote: ↑12 Jan 2020, 14:54I know what you mean but because of wilders power and furys concentration span I felt the first fight was tense all the way through.tiny_acres wrote: ↑15 Dec 2019, 21:17

Wilder is usually behind in his fights. Or should be. Really looking forward to the rematch.
In what ways do you think he's improved. Since Fury he has a fight going 90 seconds vs the division's slowest and easiest to hit contender--one absolutely tailor made for him-- and a fight where he lost pretty much all 7 rounds until the KO. Ortiz was outboxing him easier than he did in their first fight and I don't think Ortiz is as good as Fury. It will be a problem if Wilder is giving away rounds more easily vs an opponent who has actually been the distance with him.Ezzard wrote: ↑13 Jan 2020, 02:41 Wilder has improved and seems to have so much confidence in his KO ability. He was desperate against Fury but I don't think he will be again. He's the more improved fighter.
That late KD maybe proved a point to himself.. The last 2 wins have been one punch finishes hat anyone in the history of the sport would have been proud of.
Your argument is all fair, I can see that.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑13 Jan 2020, 14:50In what ways do you think he's improved. I think Wilder will win, but this improvement stuff seems like reaching based on how his fights since actually went. Losing 6 of 7 rounds wasn't a positive and it didn't cause him to beat Ortiz., he won inspite of that not because it It's the same old Wilder with all the limitations and losing rounds until the big shot lands. He did this before facing Fury too. Fury is better than Breazeale and the Cuban grandad and will be having Wilder look crude and clumsy again until the KO comes brutally.
We might see Wilder open that cut up, Fury lose that extra bit of concentration and confidence, and then boom. But make no mistake, Wilder losing rounds isn't some laudable quality that's causing him to eventually win fights. It sounds kinda funny tbh, it's like people have just tried to cover all the ground whether he's winning or losing. In that way, he really can do no wrong. If he doesn't win a second of the fight until scoring a lucky 12th round KO---'see, patience paid off!!'
You make the case that Wilder hasn't improved, so in that case why do you think he'll win ?margaret thatcher wrote: ↑13 Jan 2020, 14:50In what ways do you think he's improved.
