Have you not heard of Sugar Ray Robinson? Or have you simply not heard of his opponents -- Henry Armstrong (hall of famer), Carmen Basilio (HoF), Gene Fullmer (HoF), Bobo Olson (HoF), Rocky Graziano (HoF), Randy Turpin (HoF), Jake LaMotta (HoF), Sammy Angott (HoF), Fritzie Zivic (HoF)?
Maybe he should of said achievements instead of record but no one has come close to Manny's rise through the weight classes as world champion and his time as champion from fly weight to light middle is crazy and a world champion for over 20 years no one comes close those records not SRR ,ARMSTRONG or LOUIS
Finaly someone makes sense.
Lackeos mentions these hofs sugar fought, but diesnt mention those 100 + opponents robinson fought who had 7 losses 5 wins kind of records. Most robinson opponents were paid sparrings against d level.
Manny has fought nothing but the best since ~20 years. Since 20 years he had not 1 opponent who was laughable like these old atg often had. In his prime he made legends look weak. Morales, barrera, cotto thought they were in some kind of tornado when they entered the ring with prime pacquiao. The self called best ever took several years vacation and had 1000000 excuses not to fight prime pacquiao, because floyd knew prime pac had stamina, speed & punch power over him and he wouldve lost bad.

Obviously an atg fighter, probably top 20 at worst. The amount of titles mean nothing, while his record measures up to old timers the belts are insanely watered down now. Look at Sam Langford, he won no titles but he beat the equivalent of lomachenko at 35 and povetkin at heavyweight. That's being kind, he beat better than both of them!
Good point. Winning a ton of alphabet belts doesn’t mean much. But claiming actual lineage in four classes is a unique achievement.
Lineal is crazy outdated, but if you're going to cling to it in the original 8 he has 2?

Langford also had multiple losses to equivalents of Darnell Boone, Sergey Khomitsky and Gabriel Rosado. That's being kind, he lost to worse than these guys.

If you think that matters, then you have a future as a pretty low-quality poster. You seriously think that winning against a bum cancels out countless wins against hall of famers? So, you're telling me that if Pacquiao squeezed-in a 7-5 bum between his Broner and Thurman fights, then that would be enough to demote him below every fighter who never fought stay-busy fights, regardless of the quality of their best wins? So dumb. Sugar Ray Robinson has literally dozens of wins against hall of fame inductees. For every 2 wins on Pacquiao's resume, Robinson has a win against a literal hall of famer.

My answer is no.
Didnt i aggree with on a previous post that srr record is phenomenal and one of the best records ever, that i just thought pacs was better?
Sugar fought great opponents, but he also fought a lot of bums, which was commun back in the days. Thats why a lot of boxers had 200 + fights. Fighting a lot of bums does hurt a record. Yet he fought so many legends, therefore its obvious he among boxings top of the mountain.
