Eubank did the same by turning down Mike Barrett and going with Barry Hearn.

Where’s Snr get the dough to swan about in Dubai? He was very publicly bankrupted of his ring earnings...is he on a salary from his son, who doesn’t even fight much?

He is also a notorious freeloader with many billionaire friends over there and in Paris and Russia. They'd be billed for him.

He always knew he'd go bust eventually, he told Andy Ayling in 93/94 'WHEN I go bankrupt, at least I had a fantastic time'.
I think he estimated it would be as his children were ready to leave home.
