Although it's TRUE that many Thai's take the name of their gym CP Freshmart is not one of those cases. Instead they have taken the name of a sponsor, CP Freshmart are part of a huge food group in Thailand.

Fighter name (For example - Knockout, Petch, Petchmanee) followed by Gym or Sponsor (CP Freshmart, Kokietgym, Sor Rungvisai, Nakornluang).

Typically those following the Thai scene will referee to a fighter by their Fighter name (so instead o Srisaket Sor Rungvisai it will be just be "Srisaket".

"CP Freshmart" is a full "surname" if you want to Westernise like "van Rensburg" or "Van Barneveld".

So Thai fans would refer to Moonsri as Menayothin? Or Wanheng?
