Does it really matter, some refs might have called it, that ref didn't. He clearly wasn't hurt regardless, even if it were a genuine KD it doesn't take away from the fact that he had one of the best chins in HW history. Anyone can be knocked down if hit right.

Because you dont have the full fight, it does not mean that it does not exist.

When your record is built on gift decisions in your hometown that the rest of the world cant see its pretty easy to get rated.

As for Brown-Charnley if you wish to believe Charnley was robbed at home be my guest but that wont change the facts nor will it change the fact that I wont be lectured on boxing films by a hobbyist who is constantly mystified by what exists of fighters from his own country filmed during his lifetime much less the rest of the world. I have never for a second said that I had Charnley winning that fight. I see it as very close for Brown. Way to close for comfort in England with an English scoring referee. I say it is close, but I have to call the third round a draw, as it is missing in my copy.

if i had to say, id say his glove doesnt touch down in the first but it's hard to tell with that quality

The first one you can argue, the second one..well he didn't go to the floor on that one so its arguable as well but I'd say he didnt go down....

From Wikipedia, Bogs was 53-0-1 to start his career! I think the move down to Middleweight hurt him. Im not saying he'd been a world champion for sure at Light Heavyweight because Bob Foster was the man there but who knows, wait a couple of years to the Victor Galindez era, and he might have been!
