George Foreman recaptured the world heavyweight championship at 45.

Larry Holmes beat Butterbean at 52.

Mike Tyson can beat a clown or two at 54. As for Kevin Mcbride that was a fight that should never have been made, Mike at that late stage of his career wasnt able to deal with such a big size disadvantage ala Danny Williams. If they would have gotten him a bout vs Johnny Ruiz at that time or some of the other smaller hws then Tyson would have done his usual domination routine.

If to look on the current boxrec HW top, only in the 60s places there go some guys, who look beatable for the old Tyson. Those are the likes of Jerry Forrest and Shawndell Winters.

Eric Molina? Maybe. He's always been soft.

Dawejko - no way, he's tough.

Arreola - no way at all.

Lucas Browne is quite sh!tty. He was stopped by Allen and awarded a win against Sokolowski. Maybe even old Tyson handles him.

1. Mike Tyson vs Lucas Browne. For some reason Browne is known and has some unwarranted credibility but anyone and their grandmothers can beat this fellow.

2. Artur Szpilka. This guy is old news but still has some fame and would get demolished by the 54 year old.

3. David Price. David loves getting koed but has some height and british fame. Tyson loves koing people. Perhaps this one is borderline on being too risky.

4. Marco Huck. This small cw fraud would get his from Tyson.

5. Victor Emilio Ramirez.

6. Kevin Johnson

7. Christian Hammer

8. Alex Leapai

9. Vinny Maddalone

10. Danny Green

Honorable mention: Antonio Tarver
None of them. Hes a spent old man who was done 15 years ago.

Danny Green? He never even fought at heavyweight, in fact a lot of his cruiserweight fights were a few pounds under the limit.

Vinny Maddalone hasn’t fought in seven years and is in his late forties so the only heavyweight from the list Tyson has a chance against...

I’m no fan of Ruiz but there’s no way that version of Tyson would have beaten him...

Not sure what you’re laughing at. That night the great Kevin McBride became a legend. When you beat a legend you become one.

And how Hammer is in the list? A 33 year old tough gatekeeper, who went distance with Povetkin, Ortiz and Yoka.
Agree that Hammer is too tough for old Mike. Would’ve made a really quality KO1 for prime Mike though, so I like where your head is on that one, OP.

My list:

1. Shawndell Winters
2. Joey Dawejko
3. Lucas Browne
4. Chris Arreola
5. Eric Molina
prob all beat him, 2-5 for sure
Okay I admit that Arreola and Molina are not possible. But he and Shawndell could have a real nice fight. :OhYes:

If you want Tyson to win 10 fights. You need 10 guys you've never heard of. Of those you mentioned he maybe beats Maddalone and Leapai.

I don't know who Victor Emilio Ramirez is.

The rest I'd favor to beat Mike.

So of those mentioned the most beatable fighters have to be ranked in this order:

1. Danny Green. Retired for ages and never really was a full blown cruiserweight.

2. Antonio Tarver. Same age as Roy and not a whole lot bigger hasnt fought since 2015.

3. Vinny Maddalone. Small 47 year old Hw hasnt fought since 2013.

4. Marco Huck. A complete Cw fraud.

5. Alex Leapai. Seems tailormade for Tyson.

6. Victor Emilio Ramirez. Should be easy work for Tyson.

7. Artur Szpilka. This guy was once a fighter but is now someone looking for that 20th ko loss to add to his record.

8. Kevin Johnson. Never learnt how to properly box, has lots of milage on him, could get himself koed by Tyson.

9. Lucas Browne. What a pathetic fighter, Mike should be able to put his lights out

10. Christian Hammer. A well known fraud, just some guy that can throw some punches and stand there. Perhaps too much for Mike at this point.

11. David Price. This dude loves getting koed but I just cant help to think of Alexander Dmintrenko vs Adrian Granat. That right hand could find its mark.

Honorable mention. Bryant Pappas. A 47 year old smw fraud who fights mexican tomatocans on unsanctioned cards.

Two more potentially interesting matchups.

1. Monte Barret. With all the miles on this dude he might just lose a fight vs MT. I'd rather not see this one happen however.

2. David Tua. Lost back to back fights Vs Monte Barret, has a rather small frame. Basically a poormans Tyson but yes, this fight sounds very attractive and lucrative for the participants, I certainly would watch it live or atleast catch its replay.

Mike Tyson would struggle to beat a top 50 guy right now. He needs to stay retired and do his little sparring sessions against other old retired fighters.

what a random pile of shite of a full on retarded answer to an absolutely nonsensical question that list is.

what 'redemption'?

what 'fights'?

if you think 'tyson vs jones' was a 'real fight'... :brick:

Tyson and Jones Jr. were simply old two men in the fifties, well past-their-physical primes, wearing 12oz gloves, competing in two-minute rounds and they basically body-sparred, with a few taps to the head, last weekend. It wasn’t a fight.

The CSAC repeatedly told everyone beforehand that it wasn’t going to be a proper contest. They did their upmost to set realistic expectations, because they'd implemented strict rules that both men had already promised to abide by.

And despite the promotional marketing, there was never going to be a winner, and neither Tyson nor Jones Jr. was going for the KO. It was merely light entertainment, rather than a genuine sporting spectacle.

And I’m not being a hater either. Good for them! They raised lots of money for charity, and both of them earned a decent pay-packet too!

Tyson is 54 years of age and hasn’t won a legitimate bout for almost eighteen years. And it’s been more than 24 years since he last defeated a top-ten world-rated heavyweight. He was only 38 years of age when he suffered two back-to-back stoppage defeats to journeymen, which were the final outings of his career.

It’s absolutely ridiculous for anyone to feel that Mike would be competitive against the names you’ve listed. And it’s actually preposterous to sincerely believe he’d even consider facing any of those guys.

For sure, Mike would surely love to engage in an exhibition against Fury and Joshua, but it would only be a harmless light entertainment WWE-style charity event.

Mike Tyson will never resume his boxing career in a legitimate sporting capacity.

Stop being silly and please refrain from mentioning Foreman and Holmes, because their situations bear no resemblance to Tyson's.

F*ck it, if this is the way things are going, why not go the whole freakshow/pantomime hog and get Mayweather? There's only about two inches height difference. Get Floyd on the gear and he could probably come out of retirement and make 180 or something? Sign the contract that Floyd gets to stay 'unbeaten' but carries Mike a little, Mike's not allowed to bang the little fella out etc. Get Justin Bieber and Lil Wayne on the undercard. The sort of muppets who bought Tyson-Jones would absolutely f*cking hoover that dogshit up, wouldn't they?
