he's pretty comfortably beat every euro level guy he;s faced except ryder; fielding, mouhoumadi, rebrasse, skoglund, sjkojca...2 big first rounds kos (1 over a guy who beat ryder incidentally) and the others he won by like 8-12 points
before that it was brutal ktfos vs domestic level opposition
there's not really this sustained streak of him looking poor and he lost now to arguably the best in the game, one who i believe you leppy also had toying with the likes of ggg. very few would do substantially better
He laboured to wins most of those euro level opponents, apart from fielding, who at that time wasn't even euro level, and when he blew away the domestics that just shows how poor domestic level is in the UK the last 10 years or so

Callum Smith is a solid operator and he really suprised me last night with his toughness and chin.
He did struggle against Skoglund, he looked poor against the kickboxer in the super 6, lost to John Ryder (imo) and thus he was and is nowehere near in the same league as Canelo.
Canelo is an elite fighter, a modern day gladiator. Hard as nails, fit as a fiddle and a chin that looks unbreakable. I think Smith did well to last as long as he did.
the only way you beat Canelo is to outbox him from range. Not many around that can do that though

Why should he be getting credit for "lasting" while not trying to win but Dubois really tries to win and then gets stick for not deciding to "last". Smith was looking up at the clock and holding on in pure survival mode in the last round. He knew he was losing the fight all along and was happy to "last". For me Dubois put up a much braver effort.

Callum's the best IMO, although Liam put in a better effort in terms of going for the win.
If Callum had tried as hard as Liam to win, he would also have been stopped by Alverez, because the openings would be there for Canelo to exploit.
Just because certain boxers don't get stopped, don't think they necessarily hold a shot better than guys who do get stopped.
When a boxer is going all out for the win he will be more open than the guys who tuck up or brace themselves for the big punches.

He gets credit for taking some big heavy shots and not going down.
Dubois quit Smith didn't. He was throwing to the last bell despite being outgunned and outclassed

A fractured eye socket is far more severe than a bicep injury.
IMO Dubois tried harder to get the win than Smith.

I still think that Liam is the best overall but not by much.
P.s. you were the most handsome poster in Boxrec history. I'm glad I get to touch you everytime you have a wee.

I think Callum’s win over Groves is the best win that the brothers have.
Before the fight the Callum haters were giving it ‘finally fighting someone his own size! Gonna get found out’ and then after the fight it was ‘Groves aged overnight.’ Groves himself said nobody had ever hurt him to the body before but Callum seriously did.
I did love Liams win over Eubank jr.
I think it’s close between Callum and Liam, almost their losses count against them more, everyone focuses on the Canelo and Bert losses for Callum and the Eubank rematch for Liam.

Liam's world title wins is a who's who of nobody !
For me Callum has mixed and won at a higher level.
I should add, they've both had stellar careers.

Groves was clearly injured going into that fight.

I think Paul was the worst. I don't think I'll get any debates there. Stephen has to be the #3. I would then put Liam Smith at #2 and Callum at #1. I think the win over Buatsi was a good enough win to put him above them. The win over Groves has to be considered too. The LOSS to Ryder also has to be taken into account however. That was highway robbery. The non effort vs Canelo also has to be taken into account. Callum and Liam are overrated by many. I don't rate them highly as fighters. The thing I always noted about Buatsi is that he has one of the best chins I've seen and that masked a lot of his issues. He has had to win fights the hard way, taking very clean punches and then coming on and winning. So I was not surprised that Callum did him because Callum hits with good power. It's still a very good win.

Amazing achievement and levels for all 4 brothers to get to.
Paul got a silver in the commonwealth, Brit champion and world title challenger and is considered the worst
